If we paid for something in advance and were told it was going to be ready by a certain date we have at least A LITTLE but of a right to bitch, maybe not directly at Dine Alone, but we do still have right to be upset.
 
In regards to shipping, call me crazy, but City And Colour has quite a few fans in the states and whoever handles his distribution should be able to account for that not and not pass the bill along to us. There are plenty of artists from outside the states who's music I can get without actually having to get it from the area the artist lives in, that's just good distribution and with an artist on City And Colour's scale we should be able to get the record from more than one place.
 
These are just my two cents.

This fits in so nicely with the rest of his discography! I honestly like it better than Little Hell. 

They have approved tests, and are waiting on the final LP's to come in the mail. They said that because it's taking so long, they are including a bunch of extra stuff to the point that they are almost losing money!
 
Also, apparently American Dream is not longer handling this (THANK GOD!)

Hell yeah, I am sure orders are flooding in, but I would bet mine was one of the first. I was refreshing the page like a mofo. No way I was missing out on one of my all time favorite records for a third time!

How is that even fair? There are party/dance club anthems all of the time! There should be plenty of room in the market.

shipping is way too high for this.

One upside of the ridiculous shipping price, It took two days for this to get from Arizona to Virginia and now I can spin this today whilst working on homework : )

Got mine this morning. The packaging for this record is nothing short of fantastic. Everything is so clean and well done. The gatefold layout is great and the insert is so sick. Pretty impressed with this. Well done SRC.

I have been working on one for a little over two years now myself...I'm working on the second draft of it now...just tweaking dialogue and details and things of that nature.
 
it'd be easy to knock it out if I didn't have school and work to worry about taking up most of my free time. Good luck and keep at it!

This seems oddly familiar...I feel like maybe I might have helped a guy who had a similar aet-up organize his collection...

I was a member of the old VC board, I had a pretty good size collection until September of 2011 when I sold nearly all of my records to buy a car so I could go to school in a different state. Sold em all, never bought the car, never went to that school...so now I'm back collecting records...it's an addiction, I got clean for awhile...but now I need my fix...
