  1. And in case anyone is curious, no i did not buy my wife one. I went with the cartoon butt with a noisemaker in it. And on the inside it says "hope you have a happy-ass birthday." True love.
  2. I was searching for a birthday card in the store for my wife when I stumbled across these: https://www.hallmark.com/search?q=vinyl+record&oq=vinyl&mc=T_N_NM_CON_06182018_NA_NA_PA_BdayVinylRelease There were 3 that I saw: Tina Turner, the Cars, and Bruno Mars. $12.99 each. Pretty weird.
  3. Cool, thanks. Amazon has it listed too, but it says Oct 26. Guess we'll see. They play the Fest on the 26th too. would be real awesome if they did a variant or something for it.
  4. Is there a release date or the Direct Hit lp? I thought it was this month, which seemed like a really short preorder. Then I looked and it says Sept 23, 2019, which seems like a super long preorder. And obviously a typo.
  5. Out now on Dine Alone. Black vinyl /500. Three new tracks. https://www.dinealonestore.com/products/pkew-pkew-pkew-passed-out-7in
  6. comes with a slipmat so it's not totally egregious considering most single lps areally 18$ to 20$ nowadays. but yeah, 14$ shipped for a black copy is right up my alley at this point in my collecting life.
  7. In for a black copy. I love this band but didn't need to spend an extra 10 bucks for a color version. I'm sure the slipmat and comics are cool too though. Glad this is coming out so soon and the new song sounds great.
  8. Ever think to yourself about an option? A different way to be? And with those words the world was introduced to Atom & His Package. In an era of cookie cutter hardcore and pop punk acts, this Philadelphian one man punk rock machine delivered one of the most unique albums the punk scene had seen in years. The spiritual successor of bands like The Dead Milkmen, and They Might Be Giants, Atom and His Package’s first track “Avenger” was the bizarre story of taking revenge on his enemies, running away to an island with the love of his life, and solving the Israeli/Palestinian conflict in the Middle East…. And it just got better from there. He quickly became the single most controversial act in all of punk, people going as far as taking out ads bashing him in fanzines or banning his labels’ ads from them because he wasn’t punk/hardcore enough for them. Those people were idiots. Atom injected something that was sorely lacking in our scene…. FUN. He played the weirdest bills… I saw him with hardcore bands, old school punk bands, ska bands, emo/screamo bands, even a trip-hop band etc. I traveled 1,000 miles to see his “reunion” show at FEST 7, and it was one of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen. He reminded us that we were pretty much all nerds and got into this music because we were “uncool”. His music was great. It was sometimes silly, it was sometimes obnoxious, it was sometimes so beautifully simple and honest that it was perfect. We’re extremely happy to have the opportunity to reissue his first two records partnered with our friends at Toxic Toast Records – Atom and His Package (first time ever on vinyl!) and Society of People Named Elihu (first time on vinyl in the US!) for all of the people who love Atom as much as we do. So here’s to love songs to new age artists, leaving your friends and family to hang out with black metal bands, and praising Rob Halford for destroying metal stereotypes. Additionally, for every copy Asbestos Records sells, we will be making a donation to www.translifeline.com . It’s our 2nd fundraiser for them, and they’re really an incredible charity doing great work. Atom and His Package – S/T (Purple Vinyl /250 - Green Vinyl /250) Atom and His Package - Society of People Named Elihu (Yellow Vinyl /250 – Blue Vinyl /250) Get your copies now at www.asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com or toxictoastrecords.com
  9. Picked up Chris Gethard's 2xlp comedy album "Career Suicide" for 7 bucks. Usually $28 - $30. Pretty siked.
  10. Real excited for this one. Hope the dw exclusive hangs around til I get paid Fri.
  11. If by any chance they bring the remaining/cancelled orders with them on their upcoming tour I've already accepted that I'm going to shell out for one of these. I'm almost positive they had the studio album boxset with them for sale when that tour came around originally.
  12. Looks like a Toy Soldiers 7" is coming. One of the vip upgrades for their fall tour is: • Autographed, Exclusive Variant of Two Song 'Toy Solider' 7" Assuming that means there will be other variants that you can get without the ticket upgrade.
  13. House of independents is a cool spot for bigger bands. Jeff Rosenstock is there next month and Face to Face this weekend. The Brewery just seems to have all these cool shows with smaller bands that probably won't play the lanes now that it's renovated. I know in the next few months Rozwell Kid, The Penske File, and Dikembe all have gigs there.
  14. Definitely going. The Brewery is the saving grace of Asbury Park for shows right now.
  15. picked one up. I didn't hate Inviting Light. I obviously prefer the fat wreck era albums, but that won't stop me from supporting these guys.
  16. Will order without hesitation. This band always does such cool stuff with their kickstarters.
  17. this album is fantastic, got my lp today. perfect warm weather tunes.
  18. Looks like turntable lab has some of these incase anyone still was looking https://www.turntablelab.com/products/touche-amore-demo-12-vinyl-12-record-store-day
  19. 20. Got in line in Asbury Park at 915, they opened at 10. Was able to snag the only things I was looking for (Descendents 7" & Superchunk 7"). Would call that a success. Especially cause I'm gonna go get pancakes now.
  21. Ahh, gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up! Seeing them tomorrow in Philadelphia, pretty pumped. Was hoping they'd have them then. I'll just order from Bearded Punk though!
