I got information from helpful people, alot of bullshit from idiots. I'm done, thanks to people with suggestions.

You COULD run both (since both are active) by using 2 rca splitters.  Come off each channel of the preamp into a single male/dual female splitter and run one rca cable from each female splitter lead to one of the A2s and one of the R5s.  Make sure there is one of each type of speaker on each channel, not both A2s on one and both R5s on the other...
 
That being said... don't do it.
 
Looking at the increased driver sizes, larger cabinet size, and spec'd frequency extension, I can't imagine the set of Rokits not sounding better than the A2s.  For a lot of different reasons, mixing the speakers is going to sound worse than just running one set. You aren't going to get surround sound using 2 sets of mismatched speakers. You will get weird voice mis-matching, phasing problems, and other issues.  I would run the Rokits on their own and sell the A2s to finance some other stuff.

Leading off with the Bose Lifestyle systems and having @yahoo and @MSN email contacts are definitely the way to show you're a serious business...

On my Onkyo TX-NR609 I increased the gain on the input I run my phono preamp into using the "IntelliVolume" feature. This allowed me to balance out the turntable level with the rest of my sources. Your receiver has the same feature. Setting it to +5 worked good for me.

Man that helped quite a bit, I set mine to +8dB and its getting to where I want to have it without it starting to distort the audio. I'm gonna have to test it out on some other albums so I can set it just right but I did not know about this feature thanks!

my roommate just picked up a pair of these and had me try them. said they were the best headphone's he's ever tried (wasn't expecting much).
 
i was shocked at how good they sound considering they were $25.
 
I would say hold out for something in a higher price range, but if you absolutely need some headphones right now, these will give you bang for your buck. they honestly sound better than some $150+ headphones I've had over the years. Especially for vinyl.
