I fail to understand why all of a sudden on almost every other thread about any given release there are people shitting on those who enjoy or want that particular records. Just because YOU don't like the particular band doesn't make them suck or the those who like said band any less "cool" or "hip" in your precious vinyl "hobby". Too many people are way overly invested and concerned about what other people like and listen to.
 
Who the fuck cares! Someone likes Evanescense or Linkin Park. Fine. That's their deal so let them and it be. Go listen to what you like and enjoy then. And wait until someone shits on YOU for liking that damn band.

So I've been working on some more art using primarily records (and record covers, adapters, jukebox strips, etc...) and I figured I'd post what I have done so far.
 
I'm still working on the furniture but it's a slow process.
 
Forgive the photo quality, I didn't have a proper set up or a diffuser, they were rushed. The grooves look awesome in real life.

You could try CD Universe for Louder Now. I just got it from them a couple weeks ago. It does say backordered now (it didn't when I got it) but it did come through for me (for retail price)... If this is your only lead it might be worth a shot.

I would think if the all active members on here all decided not to buy it, yes, it would send a message. But that's completely unrealistic. Nobody is going to abstain from buying this if they are a big Blink fan and want everythnig they put out. And the other big chunk of this board will buy a copy and hope they'll be able to flip it later.. no message sent there.
 
Realistically: This thread will continue to blow up, tons of members will complain about the price, but 99% of those same members that are complaining have either already emailed for their $5 off or will pick it up once it's live. It's Blink 182, it's overpriced, it's a triple gatefold, it's got some slits or something to fit the 7"'s in, it's nostalgic... it's a collectors wet dream.

Hi…I just discovered Vinyl Collective today (despite having discovered vinyl circa 1970).  Hope to do a little chatting, swapping, and partaking in general chaos.

Alphabetically by artist, then chronologically by album.
 
Some older records aren't perfectly chronological because I can't remember the order. Stuff like ABBA and Rolling Stones had too much back catalogue for me to memorize, even by the time I was born, so to save on frustration I just put them in approximate chronological order.
 
"The Beatles" get sorted as "Beatles, The"
 
"Chuck Ragan" is sorted under C rather than R just because of personal preference. It's not correct/proper but for whatever reason I always got frustrated having them sorted by last name so I switched it.
 
Variants (though I only have a few with this issue) go in order of pressing, if known. Otherwise, however they fall.
 
MIne's done this way for my own personal enjoyment. I'm not OCD about everything being in the perfect systematical order, I just want to know where to find what I'm looking for.
