Anyone else be enjoyed the blink 182 presale disaster

Went to riot fest Friday and then the academy is / midtown aftershow on Saturday.
yes the crowd was gigantic but didn’t stop me from having a good time. I’m used to not eating at festivals. Bought water from the beer stands. And navigated the crowds the standard way. Go around to the far side of the stage and find the soft spot of the crowd.
and taking back Sunday played two songs off tidal wave.

Almost slept on this one, lol. Literally I was sleeping when this went live. I got the Butt-head before it sold out.
In other news, so according ETR in a reply in insta, they're doing a B&B Do the Universe by the end of this year. Lol prolly get that as well. I thought the soundtrack was pretty weak compared to the B&B do America. But prolly had to do with MTV involvement.

Record stores organize soundtracks in a separate section for a reason and it isn’t to help soundtrack fans find records easier. It’s so normal people don’t have to wade through them when they are digging. They are on the same level as holiday albums.

Record collectors were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should.

Turnstile records will be the next generation's thrift store Herb Albert & the Tijuana Brass.
Did herb Albert slap when it came out?

Imagine your fan base turning on you for putting out albums as solid as no closer to heaven and sister cities.

that $11.83 amount sounds suspiciously similar to the Drizly class action settlement payment that a lot of people got...lol.
That’s exactly what it was

You know the old adage: one to keep sealed, one to listen to, one to sell…
…and one to display in Urban Outfitters record frames, one to burn for warmth next January, one to pass onto your grandchildren, one to put under that short table leg to stabilize it and one to eat for roughage after the inevitable start of WWIII.
coasters for beers and clean surfaces for drugs.

Of course I see a chicago record store have a midnight listening party for the jack white album last night. It is more of an event based thing with give aways but still similar to what I am talking about.
-
I never went at midnight to buy anything but I thought I remembered news segments and stuff on TRL and other media about midnight releases with long lines. Just wanted to make sure I was remembering things correctly. Seems like most people have similar thoughts on this.
