Random side note. Just me or does it seem like aftermarket for everything generally is also higher recently. I feel like people just said "more collectors now, raise the price." Seems like when I started collecting, OOP records were $50-60 if uncommon and $100 for rare stuff, now it's more like $100 and $200-300.

I agree there’s no middle ground anymore. It seems any OOP record immediately goes to $100 after being readily available. There’s no $40-60 range.

    Happy Bandcamp Friday!

    DEVIL CARTRIDGE OST OUT NOW

Limited 50 tape sets on green and yellow in deluxe packaging.

34 songs of vapor chiptune lofi downtempo goodness. Soundtracking the lost fabled 1998 video game.

Devil Cartridge was a JRPG developed in the late nineties, but tragically was cancelled and subsequently lost. It's rumored that satanic content and mature themes, along with a failed restaurant promo led to the games demise. We at Frogazi Studios have unearthed this fabled game's eclectic and original soundtrack and compiled it for release.

It's 34 tracks cover vast electronic and video game style music, from upbeat chiptune, somber piano pieces, glitchy boss battle themes, and lofi downtempo.

Although the game is lost and may never see the public eye, the soundtrack to Devil Cartridge paints a picture of the plot and themes in an engaging and stylistic fashion.

Damn! That’s crazy. $15 a record is fuckin gnarly.

Yeah I looked into their model for it and $700 something of that is just fees to them which is super pricy. Plus for smaller bands 250 is a lot to try to push especially at higher price points.

I worry this will lead to lots of $35-40 single LPs to turn profit.
