Ah fuck, I just found out my CD Universe pre order was cancelled. Damn am I late.

Wait, were you one of the people who got an order status update email last month to say that it was being processed?

From the pics I've seen on theBay (and now BN's site), it appears to just have the #000 cover and regular printed paper. I could be wrong, but I think part of the "frilly" edition was the whole red cellophane and die cut versus just printed paper on the "no-frills edition" Again, i've been wrong literally tens of times in my life.

Truth. I just wish they were the same as the "frilly" edition. That red under the diecut was pretty sweet looking, plus they all came with a dollar which would really help with that shipping cost

rsd copy looks a lot more matte than the originals.

I'll say one positive thing to boost its self esteem. It will look so rad once it has a shaqstronaut in it.

lol @ people who honestly think the 10X10 green art insert is for placing behind the die cut and/or that the cutout is improperly sized. It's supposed to be a reverse tableau of the 1st press of the CD.

The only thing that matters is that it looks like shit.

Die cut looks like a kindergardener tried to cut along the lines.

It's fucking terrible, if there were like 3000 of these and 50% weren't diecut, no one would grab this over one with the regular in-tact cover.  I'm with whoever said earlier that the paper bag was added last minute to make up for how shit these looked.

The weight of them is heavy actually, interested in seeing how this press differs from the retail press getting sent out in a couple weeks.

Exactly the same, they would've all been pressed at the same time. Except the standard jacket will be much better without a stupid hole in the front

I just really want the lyric book. It looks really nice. I wonder if there will be an unlimited pressing of it like they're doing with TDAG
