  1. JESU 'Heart Ache (Remaster Deluxe)' 2 x LP / GATEFOLD ‘heart ache (remaster deluxe)’ presents the original remastered and coupled with a rare performance of ‘ruined’ live with guest appearances from Aaron Turner on guitar, Roderic Mounir on drums, featuring Diarmuid Dalton on bass, and a 'closure' remix of 'Ruined' The 'closure' remix was initiated as an afterthought some time in 2010, but never completed, but appears now finished in 2020, intended as an addendum and an ending to the heart ache period, as the Jesu that was left behind. 2. There wasn't unfortunately. Would've been nice if a download was included for either the stream or the 7".
  3. Can Confirm. The Hot Topic pressing of War All the TIme is probably the worst sound record I own. It's unlistenable.
  4. Awesome, thanks for posting this! I got into this one late and the previous pressing were already gone.

  6. I'll have to give it a listen. I liked Sway quite a bit, but didn't care for Echo Chamber Blues much.
  7. Indie green is up at Bullmoose as well https://www.bullmoose.com/p/35114580/descendents-9th-walnut-iex-green-vinyl
  8. Same here! I've read most of Pat's comic work and like it quite a bit, so this was an easy decision for me as well. The $1.00 media mail option was nice.
  9. I watched Boys from County Hell last night and mostly enjoyed it. Comedy fell a little flat, but there was something really likeable about it nonetheless.
  10. I've been vegan for about 10 years and tracking down all the good vegan places is one of my favorite parts of traveling.
  11. Live Pig Destroyer LP up at Relapse. One non-clear variant https://store.relapse.com/item/98488
  12. Some stateside copies of Celer - Shima are available here. $34 PPD. https://www.infractionrecords.com/shop/celer-shima-lp-gailur-italy
  13. It's easily one of my favorite releases this year. I've got a few random tapes he's released, but this is my first major exposure to him and I was completely blown away.
  14. Hope more copies of that Full of Hell pop up, bummed I missed that.
  15. It's been quite a few years now. He was doing that stuff as Nocturnal Poisoning for a while, but eventually resurrected Xasthur as a folk project. I hadn't realized this and was stoked when I saw Xasthur was playing a show here. Needless to say, I was real disappointed in the kind of show I got. Mamiffer was also on the bill and kept the night from being a total waste.
  16. Watched a few movies over the last week. Violation - Mentioning because it's on Shudder, it's a revenge thriller as opposed to a horror movie. It's a really slow burn and a tad confusing for the first 10-15 minutes, would've benefited from the tiniest amount of hand holding. I loved how this looked and thought Madeleine Sims-Fewer was great. It gets real uncomfortable in the middle, which I think was the goal. I mostly liked it. Stay Out of the Attic - This wasn't good, but it was entertaining enough that I stuck with it. A lot of real bad acting drags it down and the plot synopsis spoils what could've been some fun surprises. Rush Week - Fairly forgettable late 80s "who's the killer" slasher. There's some fun to be had here, but I can't really say anyone should go too far out of their way to watch it.
  17. Don't Panic has been on my to-watch list for a bit as well. Your description of it kind of makes me want to watch it sooner.! Body Bags is a bit of a hidden gem. Seems like a lot of people who like Carpenter and Hooper miss that one.
  18. I played a whole lot of Hades over the last month and loved it. Taking a bit of a break to play Bravely Default II, but I'm guessing I'll go back to Hades after.
  19. Got half way through Meditations and ordered the second pressing. This is right up my alley!
  20. Haven't watched Creepshow yet, hopefully later today! In Search of Darkness II is supposed to hit Shudder at the end of the month as well.
  21. I watched Honeydew yesterday and thought it was overall pretty good. I really liked how it looked and built atmosphere. It's a pretty slow burn and right about when I felt myself getting a bit bored, it starts to pay off. I'd recommend it.
  22. I got my sub club copy of this in a few days ago and it's really good! Highly recommend!
  23. Was able to grab the pink this earlier morning. Always excited for new Cold Cave!
