Picked up a couple $2s, Public Enemy - Man Plans, God Laughs , Diiv - Oshin, Sarah Silverman - We Are Miracles, and The Diary of a Teenage Girl soundtrack. They had a couple others but it wasn't much I recognized or had any interest in.

Listened on NPR this morning. It's definitely not the EPs but I'd give it a solid 8. The NPR review called it an extension of The Replacements, but I got closer to a Jawbreaker vibe.

If I had to guess its because the last time she tried to go solo (as Tom), it didn't get a lot of attention. Her memoir is being released in November, if I remember correct. I'll bet she releases some new solo material around that same time.

It's been a while since my last tax accounting course, but I just looked it up and Missouri will hold 4% for state tax and I shouldn't have any federal withholdings. I'll just have to declare it on my next tax return as Other Income.

It's just as easy to say that libertarianism will never work as it is to say socialism never will. For the last couple hundred years the democratic republic with laissez faire economics seems to have been pretty successful. But it's a constantly evolving process. I'm also a pacifist. When Hillary ran in the 2008 primaries she did so on a platform with a plan to end the Iraq war in her first hundred days. But now she has no words on it. That sucks. I think the next step for everyone disappointed in the current presidential race is to become more engaged in the gubernatorial and senatorial races and legislative propsitions. The president is just a figurehead anyway. Except for those Supreme Court nominations.
