  1. Does anyone else just get a weird icky feeling when hearing someone seriously use the term 'SJW'. It's just so stupid. Police investigation concluded this was the result of a traffic incident and wasn't politically motivated.
  2. Rosie might be one of the few that would legitimately benefit by leaving the country during Trump presidency. He's still holds a crazy weird grudge against that lady.
  3. If you were going to eat a burrito and a pizza at the same time, what type of each would you get? I'm having issues thinking of the best combo possible.
  4. I looked it up for you. Ones that seemed serious include Bryan Cranston, Lena Dunham, Neve Campbell (who actually is from Canada), Chelsea Handler, and maybe Whoopi Goldberg. The rest of what I've seen are definitely people talking in jest.
  5. For sure, I totally get what you're saying. Although I will say that I was impressed with Clinton during the debates. And though I voted for McCain during the 2008 elections and went thru the same doom-n-gloom back then, I came to respect Obama as a president and ultimately I find him to be very inspiring. I'm disappointed ultimately that a candidate will take office that feels the opposite and doesn't intend to continue his legacy. It happens to the best of us. I'm incredibly embarrassed to say that during the 08 election I voted yes on Prop 8 in CA. Fortunately for my dumb young me that vote was overturned by the supreme court.
  6. In other news, the US stock market tanks and the value of the peso plummets. And I in my optimism neglected to buy short either. But between this and Brexit, Michael Lewis has another bestseller already written for him.
  7. I'm actually with you. I have no problem with a person showing ID in order to vote. If anything, I actually think it might make it easier to verify your identity - although, let's be fair, there is little to no evidence that there has ever been voter fraud in a general election AND the amount of conspiracy that would have to occur in order to swing an election with fraud would be enormous. As in too enormous to hide. But I'm cool with cool with voter ID laws if 2 things happen: - We find a way to make it so easy to have an ID that it's basically impossible for a person to not possess one. - We treat voting day as a national holiday and create a federal mandate for early voting and mail in ballots that is consistent across all states. Until then, voter ID laws pretty much just exist to disenfranchise the poor.
  8. Seriously dude, you should feel a bit ashamed that this was your reaction. That's really uncool.
  9. Maybe I'm biased because I'm not a fan of this band - but $50 still seems like a fuckton for 1 album. $50 is like the most I've ever spent to get rare OOP pressings of my top favorite albums, not just what I'm willing to throw down on a brand new mass pressing of a live album from some flavor of the month band. I think the fact that this is priced even higher and will probably sell is just stupid.

  11. Just one more week guys. We can put all this nastiness behind us and find another thread to boost our post count. Seriously though, part of me doesn't even have the strength to care anymore. This has been such a long, nasty process. NPR was reporting that this election has become the #2 stressor in people's lives, right behind money.
