I didn't make it to a lot of shows this year, and for the most part the ones I did get to were kind of lame. Like I saw Waaves and Best Coast earlier in the year and there were a bunch of kids around. Then I caught Beach Slang but no one bothered to let me know it was just the lead singer touring on his own. But I saw The Cure at this smaller outdoor ampitheather and they played a 3 hour set. And then I saw John Doe at a honkytonk roadhouse bar, which was pretty sweet. Especially because he was touring with DJ Bonebrake, which I didn't find out about until the show started. He signed my copy of his book but spelled my name wrong.

I paid about $40 last year at a local shop. Just a day or two before someone had dropped off a huge collection of oop emo. Not super expensive but it feels like one that people tend to hold onto more.

I was reading somewhere that the show runner wants 5 seasons, but Nolan wrote it to be a single season show. Season 2 is definitely confirmed. I just hope they can hold it to something reasonable. Personally I wouldn't want to see a season 3 unless season 2 is better than the current.
