Not incredibly excited about any of these releases, but I'm always down for hanging out in the cold outside the record shop -
Hot Rod Circuit - Sorry About Tomorrow

It'd be great to see Vagrant do a box of some of their top albums. Or, like, build your own box kind of deal. Psyched for this HRC repress to finally be happening. -
I really like the player piano bits, but it can also be really distracting. It was at least a full 3 minutes after the conclusion of the scene with the piano before I was yelling at my wife, "IT WAS THE CURE!" and in that time I hadn't heard a single other thing that happened.

It's one thing to be concerned about potential insiders affecting the direction of general elections (although there's no evidence that's occurring or has ever occurred). It's completely different to not respect the results of the election. Conceding to your opponent is a precedent that exists for a very strong reason: it's a sign of respect that signals to your supporters that they should now follow the lead of the winning opponent. It's not illegal to not do so, just like there's no law saying Donald needs to release his tax returns. It's just what politicians usually do in order to preserve what little elements of civility still exists in the system.

1970s Electronic Transcription Records.

Have you listened to them? I'll have to youtube similar records later, it sounds like it could be interesting. Especially if there wasn't anything special about the shows, just had songs with radio commenter drivel thrown in the middle. Probably collectors out there, but hard to say. -
You just missed out, they were running a $25 off $150 about 3 weeks ago. It's unusual for IKEA to have coupons, but I snagged a $50 off $250 about this time last year. So you might get lucky. Currently in the look for an IKEA coupon myself, need to get a couch.

Small Talk Revival Thread
nancy_raygun replied to One Hundred Fifty-Two's topic in Everything Else Message Board
No signs yet, but I'm kind of crossing my fingers it is. I'm pretty much 100% sure it was sold because the person who owned it died. Whether they died there or not is another question. For sure. I was walking around it yesterday just making a list of all the projects I want to do. I've always wanted to get into DIY but never owned my own property before.- 169,220 replies

Small Talk Revival Thread

I bought a house yesterday, still letting that sink in. I decided to keep my apartment until the end of October so I could move over slowly. But I stayed over last night on an air mattress to feel it out. It was weird, like house sitting. Except I could smoke inside, cause it's mine now.- 169,220 replies

GatorPrideSONNN Master Thread

Every time I open this thread, I have this small existential crisis. Like, why did I read that and what the hell am I doing with my life.. -

Yep, during the scene with "Paint It Black" all I could think was how sick the special edition 2xLP picture disc box set is going to look on my shelf. So far I like the show. I don't know how I'll feel in a couple episodes because I already feel like there isn't enough to keep the intrigue going for a full season of hour long episodes. I got the impression that this premise would be more successful as a double episode of Black Mirror. But we'll see, Ed Harris seems pretty cool.
