I once saw a guy that had like seven copies of the old man and the sea, and I was like "fuck you guy " lol because I'm sure that dude isn't reading every copy of that book!!! Arrrrrgh!!!!

That would be okay, but I feel like it would be more awesome if there were a library for books. There are so many things I want to read, but I'm just never willing to pay the bookogs.com prices for some of them.

I'm pretty sure English is a second language for the label folks at Surfin Ki, as they're in Italy (?).

My only complaint about this release is that it is on white vinyl, rather than white w/ red splatter.

Not the point. They should still be selling it for the SRP even if that was the case. Interpunk sells some of my records, and if I found out they were selling stuff after it was out of print for more than it was supposed to be sold for, I'd be pissed. When they sell my records I get to decide the price and they let me know what their markup is. If they break that agreement, I'd be mad. 

Yeah they are...I picked up one of each.  I already have a copy of "Can't Stand Modern Music"....but for $5, may as well grab a backup.

Collecting vinyl records has become very popular lately... maybe that's somewhere free time can be spent?

All these newjack collectors who are more concerned about the collectability and "investment" of their records is what is marring and shit-smearing THE HOBBY!!!
 
It used to be that records were to listen to and enjoy...now it's seen as a collector's item and to be hoarded to profit later on. Much like comic books and baseball cards back in the day.
 
Next thing you know there'll be some hair-brained idea for a vinyl grading company like the CGC for comic books. Send us your records, we'll grade them since that's all you care about and encase them in lucite for you to frame and never listen to at all.
 
(And if anyone does come up with that idea...I thought of it first damnit!)

Want the flexi and if I sell the shirt for even $10, $25 isn't that bad for the LP, flexi, and whatever else it comes with. Maybe I can sell the cassette to for a few bucks so it will only cost me $20.

You could get acetates made for about $75 each. They don't last forever and they have a really strong smell.
