  1. I've had 2 very good experiences with goHastings shipping. Both albums arrived within a few days of ordering and in pristine condition; not even a single corner ding, which was surprising. They don't use any sort of bubblewrap or extra cardboard but they ship in the Amazon-style "frustration free" LP mailers. On another note, I can't believe Best Buy hasn't discontinued giving out $10 every time a back-ordered album doesn't ship. You dudes are like piranhas, haha!
  2. I realize that they're playing Carolina but the Pens really exploded into the 3rd period tonight. Always happy to see Neal sniping corners and getting a hat trick.
  3. Is this first inning of the Pirates - Cardinals game real life? Back to back lead-off HRs, a starting pitcher and coach ejected within the first 7-8 pitches of the bottom half of the inning?! Jonathan Sanchez has an infinite ERA for the game. Shambles. Lets go Bucs!
  4. My record arrived today after one hell of a journey. This sucker went from Texas, to Pennsylvania, to South Dakota, to Iowa and back to Pennsylvania where it sits in my bedroom today. USPS tried it's best to foil this sale but latin's attention to detail with record packaging was too much for them to handle and the record arrived safely. I would trust this man to ship me an uncooked egg from across the country. On that note, buy that Gaslight bundle up because that's one solid deal.
  5. #3179 here, got shipping confirmation yesterday. Website still shows processing. Check your PayPal acct for tracking.
  6. A friend of mine picked a sealed copy up at a local record store less than a month ago for $18. The only downside is that he didn't have an extra pair of underwear with him.
  7. I'm absolutely down with this. RSD influx made such a mess in there.
  8. Good, I hope you're able to get a hold of the box set. While you mean to be to the point with your name, personally, I think it reads more as "once I get this box set I will never use this board again." Regardless, good luck.
  9. Totally agree. I listened to "Ghosts" off of this one and it's definitely not for me.
  10. The search function is a beautiful thing. http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/86799-fs-blink-brand-new-soco-thrice-nfg-twy-iata-bc/
  11. Not a fan of supporting Revealed Records but they have the blue pressing for $40. They had the black available for $20 for the longest time, up until the other day.
  12. I've been experiencing that for the last 6 months or so myself. I started to think it was because my dog sometimes wakes me up to take him out but that's only twice-ish a week. It sucks because I think I'm generally still tired when I have to get up for work/school in the morning from my sleep cycles being interrupted.
  13. A few (possibly new) ads and 3 new magazine covers: http://geektyrant.com/news/2013/4/24/arrested-development-posters-photos-and-magazine-covers.html
  14. Someone changed my document profile settings to RGB mode, my bad.
  15. If you weren't such a stupidhead you'd realize that most vinyl is ABSENT OF COLOR.
  16. Pretty sure the Rob Zombie RSD release from this year plays from the inside out.
  17. Well considering that I was watching this at the time I feel that the only fair thing to do here is to either have a best of 3 thumb war or best of 3 rock/paper/scissors match to decide the true owner of this album. I'll be a sport and let you choose.
  18. My first thought was Say Anything - Is A Real Boy (original tracklist without Was A Real Boy). I'd take the last 6 songs over the first 7, for sure. Yellow Cat/Red Cat is probably my favorite off of that album and is within the first 7 and I'd still have to go with the latter 6. With that said, that entire album pretty much hits the bullseye for me.
  19. After spinning it and taking a look again, I may have overreacted a little with the "daaaamn" but it's still feeling and looking pretty thin. I just compared it to Dire Straits - Brothers in Arms and its a tad thicker than that (your average classic rock, dollar bin record). I don't know if it's because I've happened to have purchased/spun mostly around 180g records lately but it just seemed thinner than I expected when I first pulled it out. It sounds good and looks fantastic though. Not necessarily a complaint as much as an observation. edit: I don't have a scale or anything but I'd have to assume it would be 150g if that's what Buffbloom's weighed.
