Do you know what is astonishing to me? It's the absolute immaturity of you people. The very fact that someone would create a thread asking you all if you listen to the music you buy got you all bent out of shape because you're all a bunch of weirdos that buy music to stick on your shelves and stick in boxes and then sell on for a profit rather than listen to it for pleasure. Just look at yourselves, go and look in the mirror and sort yourselves out, seriously. Get the soap, give your a face a good wash and slap yourselves for being so god damn stupid and then join the rest of us in the real world.

Do any of you actually listen to the music you buy? Very few of you. Very very few. And you're all running around crying. Posting your silly basketball player gifs cause you're too inbred to post an actual sentance. You don't know how to respond to anyone, that's why I didn't want anyone replying to the thread because it would be a waste of my time and your time because you can't talk the way I talk, you aren't me and for the ones that wanted to argue back, I already told you in my original post that I am right, I know I'm right, I don't need you trying to tell me that I'm somehow wrong. Everything I posted was the truth and you know it so there's no need to try and argue back at me. I just had to get my thoughts across to you people, you shower of ignorant, selfish, lazy, useless people who's only reason to get up in the morning is to get on this site and get a hardon for all the vinyl records you have pre-ordered. You're an insult to my intelligence and for those of you that deliberately ruin other peoples chances of getting hold of limited records, and the labels can go screw themselves too because they're the ones feeding your minds with all that garbage, you can all go to hell. The only reason you sell those records online for a profit is because you're too fat and lazy to go and get a real job. If you were real men you'd be at Walmart scanning groceries and coming home to your Momma at the end of the week with a paycheque in your pocket and some hard work under your belt. What happened was you never had a real Father figure in your lives. You never had someone at an early age to teach you how to be a man and how to live life. It's taken me to take you one step towards that goal and I don't mind undertaking that task. I don't mind being The Man. I am The Man here in the UK, here in my hometown. I'll fix you.

I'd start with Don't Wake Me Up and The Glow Pt 2 before getting the other 3. They're all essential.

'The Glow pt. 2' is essential, definitely get that. On top of that I'd say either 'It Was Hot' for something slightly shorter and more digestible or 'Mount Eerie' if you're after something darker and more epic in scope.

you catch with your non-dominant hand because you need the control of your dominant hand to throw the baseball.....it's also why you wear an over-sized glove for catching the ball with you non-dominant hand

for the record, I'm all for not-switching hands.  I still do it from time to time out of habit, makes far more sense to keep the knife in your dominant hand and fork to mouth with your non-dominant....until you get to messy things like soup...use a spoon in your dominant hand for that stuff.

also isn't the switching hands strictly an American etiquette  phenomenon?

I don't think my feeble Australian brain quite gets this question.
Are you asking, if people use a fork and knife to cut something on a plate, they then put the knife down, switch the fork in to the opposite hand and take a bite, THEN switch back to take the next cut. Every single time?
That shit is fucking stupid. Only a Canadian, or maybe a Norwegian would do that

So the Come On Die Young (CODY) repress has been talked about for a while now.  That's nothing new.  Chemikal Underground is the label that owns the rights to the album, which means that it won't be lumped into all the silent represses we've been seeing lately.  Being as it's probably my favorite Mogwai record - and currently the only album of theirs that I'm missing on vinyl - I decided to e-mail Chemikal about a repress update, earlier this week.  They got back to me this morning.

"The plan is to re-issue the CODY album as a vinyl box set and 2CD in
2014. It has been a long time in the pipeline but it has been so hard to
fit it in with their hectic schedule. There will be at least 3 or 4
pieces of vinyl in the box and it will include songs that were part of
the original recordings but the band decided not to use. I would hold
off until next year and I don't think you will regret it."

Bam.  I'm expecting some EP+6 material.

If I recall right, their whole discography is streaming on their bandcamp.  There's quite a bit to dig through.

"Get myself in shape is a little vague"

Acknowledgement to BigBruise on the pic (posted in the weightlifting thread). It's not an exact science but I would say:

    35%+ -- Juice!!
30% and maybe 25% -- Juice, Insanity, cardio, anything to get a calorie deficit.
8-20% -- Focus on strength gains through a good freeweight program and have a small calorie surplus. As you push the 20% range, do "cuts" (diet and/or cardio to lose any fat that you pick up).
4-8% -- Don't expect this without roids. Maybe one in ten thousand could get here without them.

That is what I would recommend. Spider, you say you aren't that fat so if you are already under 25% and just looking to get stronger or more toned, Insanity is not the path for you. The best way to get stronger is big compound lifts with free-weights, food, and rest, not doing 20 different exercises until your legs are on fire and working out 5+ days a week.

That should be general enough to give anyone reading a frame of referene and plan of attack...

Oh yeah one more thing... if you do the Horace side quests you'll get more powerful spells that you can use during the final battles. They use up a lot of mana, so have provisions on hand, but yeah, you might wanna try getting some more spells to have at your disposal during battle, couldn't hurt.

I *think* Oliver was level 60 when I beat it. IIRC he was about level 50 when I fought Shadar. I'm not 100% certain so it's a ballpark.  For tough battles I usually ended up playing as 1 character and using provisions to keep my Mana from draining, while healing my party and let them do a lot of the fighting, not all, but often I'll hang back and just go straight healer for a bit. That and timing your Evade and attack to get 'Nice!' should do it... if you are really underleveled you might have to grind a bit. Most of the 'grinding' I did was just me trying to capture certain familiars/sidequesting, etc. So I yeah I was like level 50-60 and I think if you were able to get to the final boss you should be able to do the trick with another try. Unless you somehow made it there while being under-leveled.
I'm thinking about getting Tales of Xillia, comes out in 2 weeks and it sounds pretty awesome. I am on a huge JRPG kick lately.
