From Andrew: "I believe amazon will sell a stand alone black variant. If we have leftovers from the presale they'll sell on tour."

Pumped for this.  The new songs he played on this last tour were awesome.

Slightly off topic, but I'll post it anyway.  I spoke with Andrew a few weeks ago after a show when he was doing autographs, and asked if he's planning on a repress of Everything in Transit.  He said he's working on it for next year.  Warner Bros. wants to do it for Record Store Day, and he wants to do it himself (in his words, "a real bitchin' version with some b-sides") for the 10th anniversary.  He said something to the effect of "it'll be out within the next year, whether or not I'll be smiling about it is up in the air at this point".  Really good dude, if you go to a show, I highly recommend hanging out by his bus afterwards and getting a picture or something, he's great to talk to.

Hopefully he's able to do it himself, as if it comes out for RSD, a lot of his fans still won't be able to get it.

Edit: Sounds great, better than the MP3. I'm not a big fan of remixes in general, but this one is pretty decent.

Damn. As a devoted fan of theirs it makes my day to read this. These albums have been huge for me and I've always wanted them to reach as many ears as possible.

Nate was super into Kanye before working on Some Nights and managed to land Bhasker who produced a couple Kanye albums (808s and MBDTF) so of course it was going to be bombastic.

The autotuning is weird but it doesn't bother me as much as it used to. I hope they go a completely different direction with album #3 though instead of more arena-pop.

I think this album proves that Daft Punk is waaaaaaay better at sampling others' work and turning them into catchy dance songs than writing their own stuff. The Giorgio Moroder song is embarrassing. I'm not a Tiesto fan but I totally agree with his whole "the music doesn't deliver on the hype" remarks when he was asked about this album in an interview.

Twin Forks’ much-anticipated self-titled debut, which will be released on February 25, 2014 through DINE ALONE RECORDS in North America is available for pre-order today on iTunes and Amazon.    Comprised of singer/guitarist Chris Carrabba (Dashboard Confessional), mandolin player Suzie Zeldin (The Narrative), bassist Jonathan Clark and drummer Ben Homola (Bad Books), the band has crafted a sound that balances their punk and alt-rock backgrounds with music of a more traditional flair. Carrabba's objective for the new act's sound? "Whatever makes the audience stomp their feet and sing at the top of their lungs, that's what I want to be doing," he says. Returning to the great folk songwriting tradition, TWIN FORKS is an album that is as well suited to anthemic stadium concerts, as it is to intimate campfires. The album is replete with sticky melodies and soaring boy/girl harmonies courtesy of Carrabba and Suzie Zeldin.   TWIN FORKS TRACK LISTING 1. Can’t Be Broken 2. Cross My Mind 3. Back To You 4. Kiss Me, Darling 5. Scraping Up The Pieces 6. Something We Just Know 7. Danger 8. Reasoned and Roughened 9. Plans 10. Done Is Done 11. Come On 12. Who’s Looking Out

Well yeah definitely. I'd rather the money go to ETR too but if there happens to be no more test presses forking out $100 is an option.

Same seller is also selling People and Things for $55.  Gimmie a fuckin break.

How do you know he's the former drummer (I know bikelock was him and Bobby's former band, but could it be Bobby, or even someone else)?  Not that I don't believe you, just want to be sure before I continue lighting my torch and digging out my old pitchfork.

Fully agree.  The first pressing wasn't even readily sold widely (as far as I know).  He even has a line in his description that the barcode is intact, which isn't the case on most copies, as they were promo items.  Obviously members of the band got copies.  I mean if you don't want it around your house, fine, but do a twitter contest or something to give it away to a fan, selling it makes you look like a prick.  Not like the guys gotta be starving, he's still Andrew's touring drummer.
