So did you guys actually get tracking numbers? I have a tracking number from the 6th but all it says is electronic shipping info received with no movement since then.

I placed an order last Friday and just got confirmation it was at the store ready to be picked up. I'm going to wait until my blink shipment gets there though before I go. Get them all at the same time.

Damn that's crazy. I called the local store this morning and asked if they had gotten them in yet. She said no so on a whim I placed an online order to be picked up at the store when I got off the phone. Really glad I did. if I run across any ill Pick one or two up and hook a fellow VC'er if possible.

I tried to order this on my phone and assume I was having Paypal issues like everyone else. cursing, I drove home as fast (within the limits of course) t as I could and just hopped on the PC. Just purchased through paypal with no issues. Stoked to have this!

Haha I feel you. If my copy were close to perfect I probably wouldn't be getting the new press. I got my copy from a fellow VC'er for a really fair price a year ago, but on a few tracks there's some cracking and hissing so a super clean new copy would be nice.

I've got the first pressing of this from MTS but this variant is so nice looking I have to double dip which I rarely do. The lyric being changed is weird though. A radio friendly edit that somehow got in?

Just a few. usually if there's a different variant that looks really, really cool, I'll buy an extra. I've only done this maybe 5 times over the last 3 years though. usually I'm happy with the one copy I own.

Its the only HT store Ive ever seen that had them stored like that, not sure if it was just a temp thing, Very Odd. Their stock was definitely growing though. From about 30 records total a few weeks ago, to about 100 or more as of last Friday.

Any mention of the 'mystery release'?

I've got these on cd but have been wanting to get them on vinyl for a while. I do have 'don't break the oath' on a black vinyl repress and it sounds really good so when I saw these go up it was a no brainer for me.

My local hot topic just expanded their vinyl section which is really cool. Weird set up though. It's basically a big, 12 open on both sides, ikea looking metal expedit, but all the vinyl is lying flat so you have to pick up each piece to look through it. Baby steps I guess. It's really nice to see regardless. And a BIG high five for whoever decided ship to store when ordering vinyl online was the way to go. I don't know if Travis had anything to do with it, but ordering vinyl on the HT site and not having to pay shipping when sent to the nearest store for pickup is freaking awesome. I'm just a mile away from the nearest hot topic and it's been really nice to pick up orders this way.
