delayed Hi there, I'm sorry to report this, especially because we started taking pre-orders so long ago. The orange vinyl version of Ben Folds Five "Whatever and Ever Amen" will not ship next week. Due to a production issue, it has been pushed back to 2/24. I remember being blown away by this album when it was released, so I understand that you're probably pretty disappointed by the delay. The only thing can say to maybe make it better is that it's probably better in the long run that ORG is taking their time to do the release right. In case you haven't heard, this color is being limited to only 600 copies. You'll be getting a pretty rare pressing of a great album. I wish we didn't have to make you wait another month. via Modern Vinyl As part of Record Store Day 2015, The Hold Steady will reportedly be reissuing a couple of full length albums, beginning with Boys and Girls In America. It looks like this one last came to vinyl in 2007, according to Discogs, and will be on purple or white vinyl for the RSD reissue. Meanwhile, Heaven Is Whenever will actually make its second appearance on an RSD list. This was previously released in 2010 as part of the celebration and was a “first release,” which meant it went wide that following May. This reissue will reportedly be on 180-gram red vinyl.

I hope 'completely random' means that they add all available color pellets randomly, and then all records come out a gross brown/grey, like when you mixed finger paint as a kid.

I am curious on if there are different versions. Is groupon selling copies that didn't meet quality control? I can't remember ever seeing a groupon for vinyl that is still taking pre-orders on amazon.

does 'haze' vinyl usually have surface noise? I have a couple haze variants (have a nice life ox blood) and whenever I take it out of the sleeve, it sounds like i'm scraping the record against sand.
