But I can almost guarantee that it's the extra tracks that make this "deluxe", nothing else. I still don't have this in my hands yet, but from the pictures I've seen, it looks like heavyweight vinyl, maybe that's a part of it, too.
 
And to be honest, I kinda doubt there will be a re-run of these anytime soon. 1000 copies won't move very fast. So if anyone's holding out for a cheaper version, don't hold your breath.
 
I am mildly disappointed that the packaging isn't what we thought it would be, (especially at that price) but I'm just glad this exists, period.

I am pretty much speechless over this. This is the ONE album I would magically wish into existence if I could, because I was sure the chances of it being pressed were zero. I have never been so happy about a round piece of plastic in my life.

According to Norman at ION Records, this is a 2xLP in a gatefold sleeve. Also there's bonus tracks from some Cobra Strike records. (Which I don't really get, but whatever.) Limited to 1000.

That's the wrong ION Records. I made the same mistake too. I found the right ION's Facebook, (correct, it hasn't been used since '11), but it had a link to Norman's other business page, which was active very recently. That's who I emailed.

I just asked for some more details, and told him I was stoked on it. People are buzzing about it on the .tk and buckethead-coop, one guy even said he'd seen these sold on eBay before, but I checked popsike, and there's no record of this ever being sold, so I think he's mistaken.
 
Also, about the Axiology press that started this thread: Travis has voiced some concerns about doing that album, as it's too long for a single LP, and he can't shell out for a 2xLP yet. He does sound semi-optimistic about something vinyl-related coming down the pipe soon. Stay tuned about that.

The amazon seller is ION Records, who own the rights to this album, so my guess is it's legit. I messaged Norman from ION on Facebook about further details, awaiting reply.
 
Not crazy about the random bonus tracks. Would rather it was just the album, but... WHO CARES? POPULATION OVERRIDE!

It was leftovers from the 1st pressing, which is still not sold out as far as I'm aware, just have to find which stores still have some in stock. 2nd pressing is under way it sounds.

UPDATE 3 (9/14/15): Went through and removed all the records that have been sent in. Not too many left now! Any thing helps.
 
UPDATE 2: To be clear, not looking to buy any of these records right now. Just looking for help from people scanning or photographing records to post on the Vinylography.
 
UPDATE 1: I started to include side projects, so if you have random Coffee Project, Rehasher, Vanbuilderass or When Puberty Strikes records, hit me up. I have a good chunk of the side stuff, but not everything.
Since late last year, I've been running a vinylography page on instagram for Less Than Jake. Most of whats been posted thus far is from my personal collection, but the idea is for it to be a complete or as complete as possible vinylography. I've been getting close to the end of my collection and luckily already had a few rad people lined up to help out getting scans/photos etc. 

So I've come here for help! I know there are a few here who have awesome collections and it would be great if any one here wants to help fill in the gaps. You can PM me here, or email me at [email protected] if you're willing to help and I'll coordinate with you as far as what's still needed.
