  1. Girl trouble? If so, you're doing it right. Be kinda drunk and kinda sad for awhile, then realize that there are a lot of other awesome girls out there.
  2. I still regularly wear my Darkest Hour shirt that advertises the "upcoming" release of Undoing Ruin. Saw them a bunch around that time and they always ruled. Haven't listened to anything since Deliver Us though. Need to fix that. I'll definitely be checking out this new one. Really bummed they are playing around here with Cannibal Corpse...but it's opening for Korn, Asking Alexandria and a million other terrible bands. CC and DH getting 20 minute sets in the middle of the day? Fuck that.
  3. I had to click this to find out if it was just spam or if there was a band called "Raspberry Ketone Trial" with an album called "Natural Weight Loss Formula"
  4. For some reason whenever I can't pick an album to spin I end up putting on Trophy Scars - Goodnight Alchemy. Everything about their old stuff reminds me of shit I outgrew after high school but somehow they still rule. This album is so good. I used to think Alphabets was their best, but over the years GA has grown on me. I saw them two years ago and I'm actually glad they didn't play "Jerry's the name..." because I would have moshed too hard.
  5. Pitbull's existence is only justified by that "It's not Pitbull, it's Amy Pohler!" bit on Billy on the Street.
  6. Isn't that the same label that did Batman Begins? I'm sure if there's a huge initial demand they'll bump up the pressing number.
  7. Hoodie weather for life. Fall owns. Its the only season where I can breathe out of both nostrils at the same time.
  8. I'm definitely considering parting with some stuff. Luckily as of right now I'm "Can't do anything fun or buy anything cool" broke and not "I hope I can eat tomorrow" broke.
  9. After having to drop $400 to fix a broken strut and a couple other things about a month and a half ago I had to drop $400 on new brakes/rotors today. RIP Buying Records
  10. Free speech means the government can't censor people's opinions not "People can say whatever they want without repercussion." He has the right to say what he said and people arguing that he's an asshole have the right to say he's an asshole. Personally, I think what he said was dumb but I'm not really going to join either side of the argument.
  11. Hahaha, what the fuck. I have like 3 copies of this in my apartment. I have no idea where they came from and neither does my girlfriend.Pretty sure used SNF soundtracks are an infinite resource.
  12. I don't even listen to podcasts from people I like and want to support.
  13. The catch is you have to listen to his podcast though.
  14. Went and saw 22 Jump Street last week. Not quite as great as the first one,, but definitely hilarious and worth watching. I'm so stoked that Lord and Miller are blowing up in the last couple years. A Clone High revival now seems like a thing that could maybe possibly happen some day! One scene had me laughing so hard I was crying I've also been rewatching The Twilight Zone on netflix. A+ decision.
  15. All of those things are a violation. Really it's human rights. It just so happens that these aren't things that regularly happen to men.
  16. It costs less to license sequels than it does originals. It's fucked up and Netflix should know that we're all just going to be lost if we watch An Extremely Goofy movie outside of the context of A Goofy Movie. My Netflix complaint: No "play random episode" button. I've seen every episode of The Twilight Zone, don't fucking make me pick. Just show me one. If I read the little episode synopsis blurb I've already remembered the twist.
  17. Seriously, what the fuck is up with this? Do they think you're going to run away in the middle of their question if they aren't holding onto your wrist? If I accidentally touch a cashier's fingers when I'm handing them my debit card I want to die of embarrassment.
  18. I really want Alaska so I'll probably just have to grit my teeth and fork over my money. Do Victory releases still suck? My copy of The Silent Circus is bare fucking bones. Didn't even come a jacket, just a record and a cardboard cover sheet in a polybag.
  19. I have never listened to Mixtapes and really don't care what the guy said. I'm guessing he was joking, so whatever. Bad timing on the joke because it trivializes a serious thing. Dude jumping on stage and forcibly kissing someone is a small incident that represents a larger problem. He made the two women feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Do most dudes know that shit isnt ok? Of course. But guys touching women in public really is an issue. I know women who have had strangers grab their arms and pull their sleeves up to "get a better look" at their tattoos. Shit like that isn't a rarity and can be frightening or triggering. The whole thing reminds me of that "Not all men" bullshit on twitter in response to "Yes all women." The point isn't that most people don't, it's that some people do. Have you ever had a stranger touch you? Working retail I've had people grab my arm or put their hand on my shoulder/arm/hand and it always makes me feel REALLY uncomfortable. I know I'm not in any danger and it's still alarming. You'd think "don't just touch people you don't know" would be commonsense, but it's not.
  20. There are guys who think it is ok to just go around touching women for whatever reason without consent. It's not ok and people need to know it's not ok. While getting up on stage and kissing someone isn't rape, it IS part of "rape culture" and saying it's not a big deal just reinforces that type of behavior. Besides, there being "bigger" problems doesn't make "smaller" problems irrelevant.
  21. But TDAG and Daisy are their best albums. I know it's a bummer when bands don't play older songs, but they can play whatever they want. They don't owe anyone anything besides a performance. There are a lot of bands I just don't bother going to see if they play around here because I know they won't play what I want to hear. Of course, I saw Taking Back Sunday and they played ONE song I recognized, so I skipped them the next time they played and it turned out they played Tell All Your Friends in full.
  22. I think people (myself included) are guessing it's liquid filled because if it was swirl or splatter they would have said so. Plus I don't think they've done such a limited variant before. I could be wrong but their lowest number variants have all been around 200+
  23. I just want ANY variant. I haven't scored a single waxwork release yet, but Friday the 13th is hands down my favorite slasher series and Im a dude who loves some shitty slashers.
  24. Announced release dates for Chopping Mall and Friday the 13th. I'm on my phone so I'm going to be useless and not post all the info but Ft13th is coming late August and the /100 variant is "blood" filled vinyl.
