At this point, I'm pretty sure Brand New is done with their fanbase. They hate the public eye and the "worship" they receive. And so be it; but pretty much any popular band has the same thing going on with their fans. It comes with the territory. But it's become such a blatant marketing scheme these last few years. It's one thing to continue to ignore it, but to capitalize on it is well... RSD Deja, 10-year-old demos on cassette, those stupid Halloween masks, announcing a breakup date two years in advance, the list goes on. It's gimmicky shit. And this caps it all off. $45 for "Fifth Album" on VERY LIMITED vinyl. Only thing worse than the gimmicks are the fans that fall for it.

I can't overstate how disgusted I am with the look of the Music app in iOS 10.

I received a box from Amazon today.  I opened it thinking it was the last of my xmas shopping, but there was curator stuff in there instead!  I actually texted my mom and girlfriend asking if they ordered something through Prime and sent it in my name/address, but they didn't.  I looked around for a packing slip, message, etc. and found this...

Last, but not least.. awesome job on the Please Kill Me book!  I have the older edition, but they just released this 20th anniversary edition which I really wanted, but didn't want to re-buy!

You're engaging the wrong person. WAXXX is pretty clear about the parameters of how and what he discusses. I'd describe it as a bit flippant and, at times, weirdly attacking of others' masculinity (the "crying" and "impress your girlfriend's kids" remarks are hyper-focused on challenging your manhood as a form of establishing authority in a conversation, which I think tells us that he views that as a sensitive spot or place of weakness to hit?). The "for the LOLs" stuff works for him and a few others as a way of killing time on the internet and instigating reactions for entertainment, but a back and forth conversation isn't going to stem from there. I think you'll need to keep the discussion going in person with non-anonymous individuals or through PMs with people who are at least willing to respect the dialogue as legitimate, even if they're disagreeing with you. There are opportunities for conversation online where your sincerity isn't immediately attacked as soft or weak or non-masculine.

The dollar is at an all time high due to the current president (and volatility in Europe and Asia). I'm so glad you've come to your senses and appreciated Obama's leadership over these past eight years.
