Has anyone heard updates on this RHP vinyl box? I'd love to see some reissues of the Sun Kil Moon stuff too, not holding my breath though. As much as I'd prefer Ghosts of the Great Highway on wax instead of FLAC I'm not about to spend $399 on an original pressing. I'd be afraid to listen to it.
By the way, I came across copies of Panda Bear's Person Pitch LP at of all places Urban Outfitters. This was a great find as I've been looking for a copy for a while and Amazon's vinyl marketplace has them listed at $200+ for a used copy. Vinyl prices are getting ridiculous!

Yeah hi, let me comment on all pressings, both UK and US. They all suck 100% and sound like muddy sewer water because they are The Smiths albums. You're welcome.

They're not meant to. He has said that he wanted to implement a writing process he's not used to. By forcing himself to write, record, mix, and master two songs every month, they are independent of each other. Though I listen to VOL 1 together all the time and I think it works as an album. I think it's very refreshing and new ground.

The MCR site says it's a Newbury Exclusive, Newbury says it's exclusive, I'm inclined to believe it's exclusive. And yeah, totally agree, TCFSW is perfect on solid red. The thing about vinyl is that it's a real work of art; I get that Newbury is generally overpriced but a collector's item is a collector's item. I make $9 an hour but if I fucking love the music and I decide it's worth it, it's totally worth it.
But nobody should ever pay $45 for a Sublime album lol.

I don't know, man. Until Death Grips fans start adding up track times as if there's some grand meaning there / playing songs backwards and listening for "hidden messages" / re-arranging track listings to form a "hidden album" / or implying that the band actually possesses some higher knowledge, I might hold off on that comparison.

Having purchased from Vinyl-Digital many times before (A$AP Rocky - Live.Love.A$AP / Drake - Nothing Was The Same / Frank Ocean - Channel Orange / Kanye West - Cruel Summer, Yeezus, Graduation / Kendrick Lamar - Section 80. / Tyler, The Creator - Bastard) I can answer a few things if anybody needs answering.

1- Yes, The order forum is all wonky and backwards. I've reached out to them back when I made my first purchase and they assured me it would go through. It worked.
2- The packaging/art on their releases is NOT amazing.. As the sleeve is only like two steps away from being practically paper. They also always! throw a stupid "LIMITED EDITION" in big blocky letters in the corner and blow the Parental Advisory sticker WAAAY up. The LP center labels always look odd and occasionally include artwork not relevent to the "era" of the LP.. Get what I'm saying? Like having a Ziggy Stardust era bowie photo on the center label of like Station To Station.
3- The quality of sound is what keeps me coming back to Vinyl-Digital. Its not AMAZING. But if you're a completeist or just love a particular release thatdoesn't exist and NEED it in your collection VD is good.

Personally, as someone that OWNS a real pressing of Exmilitary, I think thats cooler... But I understand the price is insane.. But even if a record I really ! wanted had a boot and an official.. I'd still try to get enough $$$ to have an official just cause it PROBABLY would sound better than Vinyl Digital (thats another debate).

I did! order the Grey one of the boots. Just out of curiosity and I'd hate to see these things jump in value because of the color (like the Purple copy of Graduation and the blue copy of Nothing Was The Same)

I know. I have a few of their recent Brighton Press items, I was just being sarcastic.
For what it's worth, despite the crazy prices, I've been really happy with the NC/BP releases I've picked up.
Both Al Green records they put out look and sound amazing. I definitely could have found them cheaper, but I enjoyed the esthetics of them as well.

I'm assuming they get away with it by labeling it a "Pre-order" even though in all actuality there is no guarantee they will be able to get any amount they are able to sell.

Such a scummy thing to do. Either way, I hope this guy ends up having to refund the person who bought one.

I love most of Mark's music but I think he trolled us all with Benji.  I find it almost embarrassing to listen to (except for Prayer for Newtown).  Ghosts, April, and Admiral are spectacular, but he just seems totally uninspired anymore.  This ridiculous WOD thing really makes him look like a huge out-of-touch asshole.
