Every single band releasing something this year is gunning for second place. But everyone here probably expected that review from me.

I enjoyed some of the side projects, That Biceratops is a ripper. Ive had a few people want to buy that from me at various vinyl nights after ive played it. But, understood that some aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Beloved is one of my favorite bands and I'm working on getting a complete collection. A few more variants of Failure On and I'll have them all.

Had to go all in, completes the set. One band I need everything of.

they said it should be out in december, but it didn't happen.
 
looks like its a vinyl release, but i haven't found any info to confirm that.
 
it's their first six albums (well seven, because it has both wraith albums), plus the dog beats ep.

Heya. I thought it would be nice to open a new topic/thread to follow where people can post news on the latest vinyl releases coming out, and more in depth information on what is hot off the press, what is rare or hard to find, collectible releases, and wish lists on what we wish would be on vinyl. I often go vinyl digging and regularly visit a few vinyl stores on a weekly basis, so would be great to have a thread that keeps everyone updated on whats new! 
 
So far I have seen a reproduction of Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill come out recently on vinyl under the tag BEASTILL008 , also the new Beyonce - BEYONCE album under BEYBEYLP006, and yesterday R. Kelly - Black Panties out on a double LP which was quite exciting to see, on a clear type of vinyl, also limited it seems to 1000 LP's only. That seems to be searchable under RKELLYBLACK002 . I'll neatly try to post here any information or news or pictures as I get them. I think it will be a fun and informative post to follow! =O)

With that said, call me a cynic, but when a new user starts a thread like this I read it as "Hi, I am a flipper and I need some good leads on some stuff I can buy up before you and sell on to you at outrageous prices" 

Damn after reading through this I'm afraid someone might research me and find out I don't even buy records. I just pretend to so I can look cool

You're making these statements based on the vinyl or via streaming MP3s?
 
I think this record sounds great, it's punchy and warm. AM! is damned if they do and damned if they don't (look at all the hate towards New Wave/White Crosses for sounding to polished and over-produced). In fact this sounds a lot cleaner then most modern 'punk' albums, or recent releases from bands that fall in AM!'s peer group.
 
This is a great album that sounds fantastic on vinyl. A++ will do business with again.

Anyone else's AOF BBC say 45RPM on it but its really 33? Just caught this as I was putting it on now.

Got mine last week at the show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Gorgeous album and amazing listen! Glad they finished the album and the new line up is pretty fucking solid. Probably one of the best times I've seen them.
 

The older stampers broke during the 6th Blue-White split, Turquoise Mix Split press. It was remixed for vinyl, new lacquers/plates cuts etc. sometime after that. The 1st records from the new plates (Green and Purple Mush) went up in January. I think Var held on to some of the older press records for sometime, as i think there was some question whether the blue-white and turqouise mix records were from the same press...
 
 
 
This album still rocks. I played the crap out of this when it came out. It got me through writing my thesis.

This literally happened to me today too. Was supposed to be delivered today so I rushed home from work expecting it there but alas in the same boat. Having to listen to City and Colour now to get my Dallas fix til it hopefully shows up tomorrow.
