Until now I didn't realize what you had on mind. And now I do, as I got the 2xLP in a mail. WTF. On the other hand, I bought 2xLP white w/red haze for $25 and got so called once "Bad Daddy pack". Bag for my wife, baby onsie for my youngest and limitd vinyl for me. I don't get idea of koozies, so this one has to find its place somewhere. All in all, good deal. New record came along, so I'll give it a spin in a next days.

I'm totally with Don here. As long as I grew up with music on tapes, I'm not listening to them anymore. What is funny - I often buy them. The reason is exactly as Don pointed it out - tosupport band and just to have them, as they usually are a little pieces of art instead of just boring music media. This box looks awesome and I do think that it is still better to buy such box than another copy of record one already has (whether it's Caspian or Isis)

Just a few words from another Isis fan. I guess my love to their records is kind of "different type of love for each one", just like you can differentiate relationships with kids, wife and parents. Celestial is like a ten ton hammer, Oceanic is wild and beautiful at the same time, Panopticon seems to be (too) perfect album overall and ITAOT, while ovelooked at the beginning and causing a little disappointment when released, is the one I love to go back to, maybe even the most. One of the reasons, my wife accepts it, haha. They were touring (or supposed to tour, as in Europe) with Tool these days, and some parts sound like taken out of Tool's album. Just parts, though. And the other parts Gumbo mentioned, especially with headphones.. Amazing album. Maybe it lacks a bit of power in sound (production, is that it?), but thanks to it, it's different and stands out. Unfortunately, Wavering does nothing to me. It has what ITAOT is missing in terms of production, but songwriting or whatever you call it, doesn't do it for me. That's why I guess I'm happy they called it quit.

Get them if you haven't before, amazing release!

It may mean that owner of those pressings has some mental issues. It wouldn't be that bad, if he hadn't like 40 pressings of the other album (from the same band). And..ok, let's stop here, Don Back on track, I don't know if you've seen that - nicely filmed Rosetta gig from the current Euro tour:

I start with their latest opus, "The Crash & The Draw". It was meant to be ready for their summer tour, but holiday season is quite ungrateful in terms of third parties work. I became tired of ebay people trying to cheat me as paypal always cover buyer's ass. Now it came to discogs. Guy wants 50% refund because I sent him "old record and resealed it", like I have nothing else to do but cheat people and reseal record.
