I was actually kinda bummed about placing the groupon order, since, well. I really love supporting my local indie whenever I can. And there was something kinda romantic about being able to walk into a store and buy a new Pink Floyd album, something that I've never been able to do in my lifetime.

Haha, this is so much fun reading this thread. I'm not really into C&C (as I tried it once and it sounded like Bon Jovi to me), but this album case is interesting from collector point of view. For years, most of you writing here, were able to pay hundreds of dollars for it (at least, theoritically), praying for repress and so on. When it pops up, they are still people who are bitching about the price, however it is few times less than 1st press costs. When it sells out, there willl be bitching and praying again.. for few years maybe. This is business and they know it. Prices will not drop because you bitch, unfortunately. Vinyl hype works!

100 White, solid blue & transparent green mixed were ordered, but a screw up at the plant made it so there were only 80 in the end.

I've already seen 2 people from this board put some up for sale on discogs with an inflated price, so don't you worry.... you still have a chance *eyeroll*

The very first pressing of Aenima was released Sept 17, 1996. Under zoo entertainment. This test pressing exist and is numbered on the back of a normal Aenima jacket . It did not come in a white sleeve. Interesting fact is Aenima release dat was Oct 1st 1996, on compact disc. Weird but true.
There was a second pressing done on Dec 31st , 1996 by RTI Records.
The label on the back of this jacket says Zoo Entertainment/BMG. (The retail copy )
This test pressing did come in white die cut sleeves and yes it was sealed.
Now the classic records auction above was something done in 2001, 200 g remastered vinyl. For some reason it was never released.
Original these copies sold for $400 online.
What you see above is test pressing by classic records. pressed but never was released. It was discovered when they liquidated. Another company purchased classic records. I am not a expert on the history of classic records however I am on Tool merchandise .

This is getting more and more annoying, eBay I mean. Recently I had few cases when bidder didn't pay (what can I do? NOTHING) or whine about brand new record condition (asking for half-refund). I usually ask for sending it back as I fuckin' hate being ripped off, but last time I offered 25% refund just because I wanted to have my funds back on paypal (they block whole amount). Now they added some 'global shipping' shit and guys from certain countries cannot bid despite the fact I have no restrictions. The day I say "fuck you" to eBay is getting closer every day.

Lol. Screw that. We all collect. We all have rare limited shit and versions that we dont need. If someone else wants it theyll dictate the price. Thats where we are. This isnt 1997 when some stores wouldnt even buy back my records because they only wanted used CDs.
