I'd say that TNO pressings and listing kind of transition colours as separate variants is made on purpose, so all the Isis completists realize how wrong they are trying to get them all.. same applies to Panopticon pressings. I know what I'm saying, I have been in that boat for many years now

Waaaay cheaper than duplication.ca and generally, best option I have found even when ordering from Europe. For tapes, imprint and dubbing. Tried to do it by myself or in separate companies initially, but it gives no real savings.

I’m just trying to connect some dots on a correlation here, and determine if a debate is even worth it.  Because there’s absolutely no point in either of us discussing the value or embarrassment of “radio rock” if you’re the type of mouth-breather who says “uh well Papa Roach get plenty of playtime today so clearly they’re doing something right.  Popular music = good music!”
 
If you truly didn’t give a damn about naysayers, you wouldn’t need to advise them to “go away”... you do know that, right?  Like Zero, I plunked down $40 on this thing against what is probably better judgement – I have a horse in this race.  I get to have an opinion on the singles released.  And I get to write that opinion out even if it’s not positively gushing.  This shit’s not rocket science.  Instructing negative opinions to cease just snuffs out potential discussion and funnels the thread into one giant circle-jerk.  Knock it off.
 
Much like you “don’t care” what naysayers may be posting, I don’t care that “thousands of other people have bought this” and may adore the singles so far.  In fact, I hope they do.  I am cool with seeing the band do well – I have nothing against them.  If the album isn’t my cup of tea despite being loved by everyone else and reviewed favorably, I’ll have no problem selling my copy at cost and moving on with my life.  My involvement in this thread would likely cease after I’ve said my peace, and that’s that.

They are still working on figuring our how to ship the birds alive in the boxes without causing seam splits. 

500 each, one was a yellow base with splatter, the other was a clear base with splatter.

I was at this show, and trust me when I say you’re gonna want this. This was the best I have ever seen them at. They sounded amazing and I am stoked to get it.

Well this is certainly interesting.  The early Isis influence is readily apparent, which is cool.  Some of this is REALLY fucking great, some of it is really fucking weird.  Would like to own though!

Talking about popularity/demand. I remember talking to Mike few years ago, that they couldn't get rid of W/F vinyl, taking them on tour again and again. Right after it sold out (after years, literally), forums were screaming for repress, aftermarket prices sky-rocketed and all. Finally, when the repress happened, it didn't sold out immediately. Why? Because there is no demand for 500 copies now as there was no demand years back. First 100 copies would sell in a minutes, but whatever we think of Rosetta or other similar favourite band of ours, they are not that big, unfortunately.

Talking solely on music.. "Vulgar Display of Power"? And what is that second band..?

Depite the fact this album split is not the way I'd really expect it to be released and am not happy about, but.. the direction this thread goes is so repetitive, that is almost funny. What exactly? For the past few years (maybe even close to ten?)  people wait for a particular album, claim they would pay any money for this only if it's not a black market price, prey for it and so on. Then it is finally released and bitching starts. It's either too pricey, pressed in wrong colours/splatter, art is bad, etc. I'm pretty sure you all have seen that before
I ordered box, would also get the single ones, but yeah, money.
Original pressing plus test presses must be enough
