Hi Everyone, I have just begun an Ebay auction of 78s, 45s, LPs and dubtapes from the estate of Maria Cole, Nat King Cole’s wife. The auction is live now and includes Nat King Cole LP's, 45s, 78s, a handful of master recordings, and a record signed by Marlene Dietrich for Nat.  The auctions will end Sunday May 8 between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. EST.  Search Ebay for “Mrs. Nat King Cole."

I'm finally getting around to post what my current record area looks like. My wife and I live in a small Miami apartment so this is actually our dining room area too (complete with wine rack). The 7" collection has been moved to a set of shelves in the "office" area of the main room.

Just bought all of these on ebay very stoked to finally have CSD variant of beach music as well as Carrie & Lowell. Don't really care about the others too much but I will definitely check them all out as well.

about to undergo some minor changes/additions when it comes to what's hung on the walls, but this is the basic idea.

The cat upgrade to my setup is not recommended, it makes changing records a lot more difficult...
 

might be worth your effort to make some kind of divider type book ends to place between the pipe and your records.  if there is any kind of pressure on the sides, your records are going to warp pretty quickly.

Looks like you are set as long as you keep your collection under 10 tapes.

As a personal project, it would be pretty satisfying, fun, and awesome to work on that and get it as perfect as you can.  Not everything needs to be put in the context of "YEAH BUT HOW DOES THIS HELP ME, A GUY ON THE INTERNET?  I DON'T WANT TO PAY FOR THAT/HAVE SOMEONE INSTALL THAT FOR ME/USE THAT SAME SYSTEM FOR MY OWN RECORDS".

Wow, angry much?  I bought it b/c it has a few albums I don't have of his, but I don't HAVE to have them.  No need to get all butt hurt and call people dipshits, it's just the internet, and last time I checked it's also a free market, so if I want to sell it down the road, I can fucking do that and you can't do shit about it.  Crybaby.
