I just realized I can't access VC on desktop. Not using any old shortcuts or anything, when I type www.vinylcollective.com I enter the homescreen, but when I try to log in or navigate to the boards I get the error that the site is still updating saying 'We will be back soon...'. Using Chrome on Mac. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

How have you guys been keeping track of new content before the update? Genuinely curious, because that little star has always been my compass to navigate through this board.

Yet another shoutout to my man Dave Grohl for helping me out with this one. Dude's been a record fairy for me lately. Thanks, bud <3 The updated cover art looks great, I dig it. Could not be happier with clear as the limited color option, either. So, overall, very excited for this. Though, I have to say, this is a rather high percentage nostalgia buy for me. I do appreciate the album musically, I adore the guitar work, songwriting and I've always been especially fond of the drums on here, but, from today's point of view, I love this record the most for where it eventually lead me to. After digging this record, I dug deeper and found loads and loads of bands whose output I care about deeply still. It's an important cornerstone of my musical socialization and stands strong as opening a world of art I might not have been able to grasp so early and deeply without it. Ultimately, they've been bettered by their peers, but City of Caterpillar have and will continue to have a sweet spot for me. I'm looking forward to thoroughly sit down with this record again. It's been too long.

Thanks for the insight, Jake. At first I wasn't too sure what to make of the 'remaster'-tag, with the original mix and album overall being pretty close to perfect to my ears, but you mentioning that you guys had never been completely satisfied with the results makes me all the more excited to listen to one of my all time favorite albums the way that the people who created it had wanted it to sound. I'll hold off of listening to streams of the new mix to keep my excitement on a maximum level until I put the needle on it and fully embrace what's there to explore. I know I will love it, as I did for the last ten years. Also, Jake, your avatar is, by far, the best looking one after the 'circle takes the square'-update, so extra kudos for that.
