  1. Did someone at the office do it? Does your office have keurig machines? Did they grab something from the break room to stuff in there?.... but why? whats the point? Why not take the whole box or just leave it empty?

Wait, UPS has to have done it so the weight remained in the the same ballpark as to not set off any red flags in the shipping process.  Or so the box didn't get more visually crushed int he middle? I guess those are the only logical reasons someone would stuff something else into the box. Has to have happened in the shipping process. UPS's fault. Or it was a crack head in your office and all logic is out the window.

  2. I preordered the deluxe with the slip mat from Domino and it showed up yesterday. When I opened it I was surprised to see it was black because the mockup showed it being purple.  Turns out it's actually a really really dark purple.  I noticed some light pass through after listening to it and putting it back in the sleeve.  If you got a copy with gold foil on the cover, try holding it up to some light. Not sure if its a pressing error with the color being so dark that it looks black or if it was intentional. I guess the stripes on the cover are dark purple too so It kinda matches?

  3. I just under grade everything. 99% of stuff I sell is NM but I still grade it VG+. Or if it has some dings and is a VG+  I'll grade it VG and so on. I'm not worried about losing "value" by the grading system. When I sell a record I'm just trying to make room on shelf or thin out records I haven't listened to in awhile. I under grade it and list it at a lower price than whatever the cheapest currently listed on Discogs. They always sell fast and I've never received a complaint.

  4. I caved listened to the album when Polyvinyl sent out the full download. I absolutely love it! Its modern yet nostalgic. Complex and catchy.  In my opinion, this is some of the best , well tuned, and technical song writing put out by anyone in a long time. I really enjoy the lyrics and vocal styles. This album is what I've always hoped for and expected from Mike Kinsella. I'm blown away. I don't see this leaving my turntable for the foreseeable future. I can't comprehend how anybody in their right mind could listen to this album and feel that its not a keeper. I'd like to hear any new music in their library that can make LP2 seem forgettable.
