I was quite ticked off because I ordered X&Y off amazon and it came super badly warped and wouldn't even play properly. Just got a replacement in and it's even worse than the first one that came. 
 
Wanted to find out if there were other pressings but instead found this page on Sterling's website (It's a mastering studio) which says X&Y was mastered for vinyl there in 2016.

Wonder if that means there's a new remastered version coming out this year or the next! Or it could well be just a typo..

i measured mine and i went to my friends homes and measured theirs too... i even asked strangers on the internet to measure and let me know the size of theirs.

It's because post-Southern Air, Yellowcard made an inexplicable switch to writing songs that...aren't great, imo.  They're mostly bland and ordinary, and they seem to like leading off albums with the most unremarkable, unmemorable songs.  I almost stopped listening to their new one after the first two tracks...and that's not good if you're wanting people to give your music a chance.  

Did you even read that email? This didn't get delayed, it just didn't ship early. Anberlin got delayed nearly a month.

Maybe it's just me but I don't ever expect to have the physical album when I preorder online. If it shows up it's a nice surprise.

Yeah. This would have been instantly noticed on the test pressing. I guess we have definitive proof that Epitaph doesn't even bother listening to those shiny black things that they get in the mail!  Haha

Considering the price point of the RPs, I highly, HIGHLY doubt they'll be using the MoFi plates.

I've always wondered who foots the bill with this kind of eff up? I assume the label since they approved the test press?

Pretty sure these were pressed at RTI, which is one of the largest plants and is known more their increased fuck ups over the last couple of years. They're even starting to fuck up MoFi releases. Epitaph isn't exactly known for their superior quality pressings either. So I'm sadly not surprised to see issues with this release. RTI has QC issues for sure. At least Epitaph is taking care of the issue.

Like how Dust & Disquiet black 180g was printed a-side on the b-side. Don't know how this shit slips by. But this is even worse of a fuck up.

I guess I just am tired and hoped in my daze it was somehow not as big of an issue as it is. Should have thought at least for a minute about the pressing plate thing. No reason to assume there would be different plates used for different US colours, idk why I hoped that.

Yeah, I'd like the MoFi presses, but a 2-for-1 on black copies is also a steal. I don't own either of those albums because of the prices.
