Guys - I don't know why I started watching Flash. Seemed kind of juvenile. I've never watched Arrow. But alas - I started it.

I don't have much to add to the discussion other than this whole thing sucks. I think the community probably has plenty of reasons to be frustrated, beyond this particular incident, and what we are seeing now is shitty. I hope they can find their way back to more constructive, meaningful forms of protest soon and god willing, make some positive changes. 

the problem is that this WASNT a trial. all they were doing was determining whether they may have been evidence that this should go to trial. he wasn't acquited like i see a lot of people saying; what they said was that 'sure, this kid died, but we don't think his family should have their day in a court of law, whatever that outcome may be.'

tired of hearing this, because no, no, no, no. that is NOT the entire point of the show. if you think it is, then you're missing the point entirely.  if you read the comics the show is supposed to be based on, it is intentionally the opposite of every zombie movie, which is what made it so compelling. it's focus is on the PEOPLE and how they interact and are forced to adapt under the conditions. the zombies are just incidental characters (and i use the word 'characters' loosely, because really they're more of a set piece than anything).
 
AMC obviously knows how to make good character driven programming, but they're trying to appease the 'MAKE THIS LIKE A CHEESY ZOMBIE MOVIE!!' people like you, AND the fans of the comics, who know how good the character centric plots were, and they're just not doing a good job of it.
