While I adore MM more than OOT, I found that OOT had more memorable music. However, that could just be me having played OOT a lot more.

If you're going through New Orleans, there are three record stores I visit and like: The Mushroom New Orleans, on Broadway St. A modest new vinyl section and not that great of a used vinyl section. I still find a good amount of stuff I like in their new section. Then there's Euclid, a very common favorite. A lot of old records, and a solid new records section. It's also worth checking the "weird" section in the upstairs. And on Bourbon, Skully'z! Very small space, but a nice selection of new vinyl. The only two I say *don't* go to is Peaches -- wayy overpriced -- and Jim Russell -- wayy unorganized and badly treated vinyl.

A lot of people are complaining about the price, but really... $75? That's less than $20 per record, with full color sleeves, plus the box can't be that cheap, I mean... It isn't some cardboard box or anything. Sounds pretty reasonable to me? Plus domestic shipping was $7. They can't help them international rates.

My friend really digs The first record more than this one and I have no idea where he's coming from with that. Also that 10" is definitely tempting.

I saw that this band had toured with PBtT and was on Deathwish, but I still never listened to them... I just checked out some of I.V., and.... Jesus. This is really good. Ughhh I shouldn't drop any money right now, but I do get paid this Friday, and Deathwish's prices are pretty solid. HRMM

Pretty sure earlier in the thread someone posted a tweet of theirs that said it was limited, but that they have "quite a few copes," and that it should be easy to snag yourself a copy on the release date.

I thought this album would be underwhelming based on the tracks I'd heard but I was pleasantly surprised. Will take some more listens to decide where it stands in relation to their other albums.

According to the Amazon page for RTJ2, it's a single LP? Isn't the standard teal version a 2xLP? Or does Amazon usually not reflect accurate information (I have no experience buying vinyl on Amazon)?

It was hard to drop the $36PPD for that IZAH vinyl but I really wanted it AND I wanted to support them. Cannot wait til it comes in, nonetheless. My favorite track was the third one! The way it explodes at around the 2~3 minute mark gets me every fucking time. And the ending of that last track was crazy... Kinda GY!BE-esque.
