  1. Couldn't agree more. If they put a bit more effort into it, they could be selling a lot more stuff.
  2. I made the second order. Always glad to support smaller businesses and roll the dice on mystery vinyl! Just to reiterate what the original post said: the shipping cost is INCLUDED in the $20 price for US orders.
  3. I live in Seattle, and shipping for a single album is $9.95. That's pretty harsh, but it does explain why they can continue putting the coupons out there.
  4. Thank you! Just spent more money! I can't stop myself!
  5. 23 tracks spread out over 4 LPs--why? Maybe next time they could spread them out over 11 LPs to maximize profits on this one.
  6. I listened to the digital version again just in case I might have forgotten how it should sound. Definitely something wrong with this LP. I wonder if all copies have the same issue.
  7. My copy arrived today. It's a beautiful piece of vinyl. Something about the sound of it doesn't seem quite right, but I can't put my finger on it yet.
  8. I went to buy the double LP from Deafheaven (newest one). $21 shipping. Nope.
  9. I just found this thread on the Drowned in Sound music board today. The thread has one response in which a person rates the main LP reissuers (see following list). Could anyone weigh in on whether they agree with or disagree with these ratings--and why? I was looking at some Plain Recordings LPs over on acousticsounds.com today, but I definitely want no part of them if they are going to be average or poor. Quality is very dependant on the label in charge of the reissue. Here are a couple of examples that come to mind: Usually Very Good: Music on Vinyl Rhino Light in the Attic Numero Group Average to Good: Back to Black Major label reissues Usually Very Poor: Plain Recordings 4 Men with Beards Back on Black
  10. The vinyl revival will start tailing off in the second half of 2016. By Q1 of 2017, we'll begin seeing stories about how the vinyl industry is "in trouble again."
  11. They also let me know today that they reduced my price by four bucks. LOL.
  12. I also keep seeing the Carly Rae Jepsen album from this year on best-of year-end lists. Might have to grab that one as well if its price goes down.
  13. Had you heard of The Beatles before you heard of The Beatles? Obviously not. Are you now "pretentious" now that you know about The Beatles? I'd guess not. You don't have to be pretentious to be interested in music you've never heard before.
