    Last flexi I owned came in the back of an Empire Strikes Back book I had when I was like 6. It played the book and had a little chime when you needed to turn the page while reading along. Good times.

    It was reflexcdca from the UK through amazon.ca. Unfortunately, I think they were all one-offs. Just happened to be browsing for deals and caught them.

    Crap, completely spaced doctor doom, life gets in the way. On the upside, I scored a bunch of cheap 3rd party Amazon stuff on Friday - acid king, weed eater, conan, quest for fire, the ocean. All way under priced.

    Listening to 1989 for the first time now. I'm not familiar with the source material, so I'm not making comparisons. Ryan sounds good though, I like it. Do I now want to go and listen to the original, check out Taylor Swift? Not likely.

    Very steep. I'm conflicted because in Canada, even som US preorders are steep with shipping. I want this, but yeah that price tag - ouch!

    There is a pre-order for Lightning at the Door on Amazon.ca with a sept 18th release date. Not sure if it is the same a the mysterious disappearing colour version, but I took a chance and ordered it.

    Just picked up Brothers of the Nod from my local shop - 2 for 2 on Hawkeyes releases. So glad I didn't order it directly from Helmet Lady. Save a bundle on shipping. If anyone wants me to grab a copy of either album for you, let me know.

    I just noticed that Saint Marie has both of these up for pre-order now on their website, and for less than we paid through pledgemusic. Is that a normal practice?
