  1. I've been looking for that half pink bleak as well and kicking myself for not getting it from burger when it was in stock. Great album. Looks like Patterns may still be available here?
  2. So it goes. I`d imagine many people weren't too smitten, which is why the copies that are still out there are relatively cheap. Going back to that mood conversation again - yesterday I was enjoying listening to Infinite Light as I was typing my comment, but today I can't get into it. Different day, different mood
  3. I'm glad I held off on ordering that RP, thanks for the heads up!
  4. It's totally true that mood can really turn me off a release. As well, sometimes I just don't have patience for the slow build, which I think may have been my initial issue with the Tumpisa and the Troum releases. B&B is one of My favourites. I have the vinyl and the cd version with the cardstock sleeve and the extra demo disc. I have a couple nit-picky beefs with the vinyl - first they shortened the songs for the vinyl version. Also, the cd cover is rectangular to fit the artwork. For the vinyl, they stretched the cover art to fit the 12 x 12 cover and I just never felt like it looked as good. Perhaps I was biased from having the CD version first. Regardless, it is still amazing. For what is worth, I think that Infinite Light release is brilliant. The music is subtle and serene with hints of unease - pretty different from much of AB's catalogue (at lease what I've heard). For me it is a great late night listen. I also love the artwork and think the Brown/Black version (which I have) adds to the overall presentation. I've ordered a few things directly from Aidan through the Broken Spine store and through his discogs (adn). Added requests for them to sign stuff and they've always been cool about it. I also met them at a show in T.O. a couple years ago and asked them to sign a few things there too. . . had a chance to chat with them for a bit. Both were super nice.
  5. K/W here Wow, I have never heard of that company - thanks for that tip. . . unfortunately, K/W is just a bit too far away from Mississagua to make this viable for me, especially taking their hours into account (10-5, M-F)
  6. I'll have to give them another listen. I don't remember them grabbing me, but then again, it has been awhile and I don't have any notes handy Did you guys ever check out Infinite Light ltd?
  7. Which ones are those? I did/do like Wasp, but really need to be into the mood for those vocals, so I haven't gotten it on vinyl, though I have been tempted a couple times.
  8. This is true Tangled is amazing, agreed. One of only a few 7" I own. my only complaint is that the vinyl is a bit flimsy so my copies is a little warped. Still plays fine though. I could never get into flipper either. LOVE Queller. I actually quite like Dagdrom. Those live drums add so much
  9. Transmission is amazing. Love that album, but you should also revisit triptych and the interzone mantras...both have some great tunes.
  10. Yeah, definitely not deluxe packaging (man is this sleeve flimsy), but deluxe in that it is remastered and split over 2 lps. Does sound good eh?
  11. Yeah who could forget this classic: http://boards.vinylcollective.com/topic/113590-my-vinyl-investment/
  12. Bump because I had forgotten to PO this and just remembered now. The site says it is down to the last copies, whatever that means.
  13. I had beef stroganoff tonight, totally envious of any Mexican influenced concoctions.
  14. I hear you, my thinking exactly. Haven't decided yet
  15. Okay, fair enough, but I don't think you can explain your way out of Hudson Hawk. I notice you conveniently avoided that.
  16. I sent a message and asked about that, having missed out on the deluxe rainbow. Mike seemed to think he could make it happen...we'll see if it works out. I hope so, am a huge fan of this album, but don't think I need the extras.
  17. I've never met Bruce, but taking off his shoes and socks at the beginning of die hard was kind of an idiot move.Plus, there was Hudson Hawk.
  18. Sometimes you need to take control of the situation - those tacos aren't gonna make themselves. Be the hero you need!
  19. I like Brume a lot, but man that chipmunkson was giving me a serious headache.
  20. Thanks for the info. Makes sense. . . .might be worth emailing them to ask about it.
