  1. Holy.... yeah that song is great. Except I can only give it a 9.9/10 because they didn't put Admiral Ackbar on screen when he screamed "It's a trap!!!"
  2. I'm a horrible person. Got a refund from SC and immediately got on Bull Moose. Thanks for the contribution to my horribleness VC.
  3. Gosh darnit! I'll have to look tonight if it actually comes out that cheap after tax (CA Sales tax is killing me). EDIT: Requested a refund from Saddle Creek. Bull Moose claims theres no sales tax. So it might be $130 flat.
  4. Of course The Wonder Years is going for a ton..... might actually go for that Aficionado press because I really dig that album.
  5. WOW! Just grabbed mine note that this already includes tax + shipping. So when they say it's $150, they literally mean $150. Really happy about that.
  6. Going to grab this. Somehow the the only Bright Eyes LP I have is "Letting off the Happiness" that I got when RSD didn't have anything I wanted. Since it isn't in this set, might grab it. Also just wanted to point out that the set is 6 albums, all 2xLP except for The People's Key and I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning. It says it above, but I stink at literacy.
  7. Yeah went ahead and ordered as well, just I don't get one of the rarer variants then I can always fall back on this one. It was stil $15.60 for me though bc no prime.
  8. Well can we move it back now? Vinyl is out lol... Yeah.... I could care less about rarity if it just doesn't match the artwork at all..... so probably going for /700 + Casette?
  9. Yeah since this is Hopeless you'll recall they've split it up on all recent pre-orders. For the Bayside release no one was buying 12"+7" + shirt so now it's as just the vinyl records. Wait for it. Especially since you'll realize the price for just the 7" is $8 (the price they adding from the one 7" to both variants. But does sound cool, especially if Chris Carrabba is one it. I can get my emo and pop-punk on at the same time.
  10. ....just realized I somehow posted this in the "Everything Else" message board. Doubt they have a function to move it over (even though you could litterally just do a SQL copy/delete)
  11. Yeah I take interest in them because I do have a complete vinylography of them minus Zombie EP. I would tend to agree that the albums have been a little less and less interesting, but differ on Space EP. You can find me stomping to that EP alone every once and a while. Alien and Moongod are both fairly heavy hitters. Asteroid isn't heavy, but does a good job at that sound. The beginning "spoken word" section of the end verse ("Think of best friends, think of strangers...") is executed to perfection.
  12. There's no preorder up yet, but I've been stoked for this album so wanted to chat about it. New song "Daughter" is up. Then there's the interesting stuff about band member changes. As you can see in the video, they have a new drummer. Apparently it's Giuseppe Antonio Capolupo (ex Haste the Day). It hasn't been officially stated but the comments say that Dan recorded the drums, then he left, and now Giuseppe went back and re-recorded them all to suit his style. That's rumor though so.... Thoughts? This semi-slower more methodical TDWP is interesting I suppose. EDIT: 7/18/16 Pre-orders are up: http://merchnow.com/catalogs/the-devil-wears-prada
  13. Yeah. If the bonus tracks are on the LP, then that's intersting. But I'd be wary of quality anyways because even at 2:30 a track, you'd be pressing the limit.
  14. I can dig it.... there's something about the mellow pop parts that mix with pretty crazy drum fills and guitar parts that makes their music unique.
  15. SMH keep calm. My auto deposit will kick in a few hours. If this doesn't last I will *fill in angry blank here*________ EDIT: Who want's to be a hero?
  16. Tis alright. Album is awesome. That's all I can ask for.
  17. Might just mail a blank check to them now and tell them to give me all of it!
  18. Will grab this on Friday (payday) also need to grab a copy of Group Love and a few others. Also really wish he would repress Avalon. When I saw him live like a year ago, those songs were by far the crowd favorite.
  19. Actually thanks a ton. Got mine in today, was going to spin it tonight. Seems like labels haven't been putting this on recently. The Debut Carbon is a pain to switch and I've had it happen several times recently where I put on a 45 7", then a 33, then right back to 45 because I didn't realize it. #speedforeveryone
  20. Hmmm.... I'm gonna have to give both versions a listen now. I ordered the OK 2nd press, didn't fall for it after 3 listens and got a refund (mostly bc another pre-order popped up that day). To me the first 3-4 tracks were amazing and then it trailed off.... Now I gotta see if either version grows on me. To quote the Fantano "Ya'll know this is just my opinion right?"
  21. Had to bump this just to give Hello Merch the biggest props ever for an amazing shipping job. Got all 5 in today, none of them with the slightest crack or bend in sleeves. It was like heaven. They had a foam sheet between each of the 5 records and it was well deserved. And I don't recall it being the much for shipping either....
