Just be patient. This album hit me a few months ago, and I was looking high and low for a beer-and-black copy. Everyone wanted to sell theirs for $20 - $25, but my black copy was doing it for me. Eventually found one on eBay for $5.00 - not a single bid in six days. I don't get it... but it seems like the price and search for this album fluctuate pretty randomly.

I don't know, but I sure as hell won't risk it. Kind of torn on deciding which variant to go with, though. Those hazes sound intriguing... but the AB orange / CD blue sounds perfect.

God, I hope so. I was thinking of possible variants for this release, and I really couldn't be happier with a clear press. Can't wait to find out what it is.

+1 to OP for bringing these to light. TTBOADH has proven to be rather elusive over the last few months. Or perhaps I'm just cheap. This will be my first Hellfish transaction, and so far I must say that I'm impressed with their pricing.

By "Thrice/LD", I'm hoping you mean Thrice + La Dispute + Moving Mountains + O'Brother. In which case the choice should be obvious.

Would you be comfortable sharing how much you paid? You've just got me super curious. Not that it really matters - I'm a firm believer in spending how much you want on what you want. No questions beyond that. If you don't feel like divulging, that's also quite alright.

Yeah, it's just the luck-of-the-draw. Or unfortunate timing. I can't really complain -- it's tough for anyone to whine about paying full retail price for a copy of FC and Colors.

I'm not doubting that at all. I just think it's funny that all the great stuff [more Major / Minors, Colors, Full Collapse, etc.) will inevitably go up sometime this week. Most likely tomorrow, as soon as the coupon's void. (Though I've read that there won't be any more copies of the new Thrice until 09.20.)

I'm not sure what compelled me to click and read this thread, but I'm glad I did. Original post was equal parts typical, laughable, and frustrating to imagine. Especially putting myself in the waitresses shoes. People as a whole are ridiculous. This too.

Thinking back on it... I remember staying awake until they were in your webstore, that morning. No idea why, but I recall knowing the day that they'd be up, in advance. Just not the hour. Of course, I could be imagining that. Feels like a while ago.

I don't own original copies. I'm not a fan of SNW, not going to lie but I think that album is pretty horrible but that's just me. I don't mind ST but I might just buy both just to complete my collection. Perfectly understandable. I felt the same way. And while I'm not saying that it'll necessarily grow on you - especially if you've already given it plenty of fair listens - I will attest that it's remarkable how that album changed, for me, almost overnight. I have no idea when or how it suddenly went from mediocre to remarkably enjoyable... but alas, it did. Not doubting this in the slightest. I meant to say that I was far from a Deftones fan, at the time. When the band officially clicked for me, steep eBay prices were pretty much my only route. Glad I waited it out.

+1 for bringing this to everyone's attention. Just called up Victory and canceled as well. I had a gut feeling they were going to receive a handful of cancellation e-mails this morning. As soon as I called up to inquire about canceling an order, the receptionist said something akin to "Wait, you're not... the guy who e-mailed us just this morning, are you?"
