I showed up late to the Clash party. When I was a kid, they were one of the bands my dad wouldn't allow me to listen to and I didn't know anyone who was into that scene, so I had zero exposure. Years later, London Calling showed up on a best albums of the 80s list (#1 on Rolling Stone, I think?) so I thought I'd check it out. It was so good, I listened to it a few times straight then called my dad and bitched him out for basically cheating me out of listening to them while they were current. Anyways, yeah, I love the Clash.

Awful news about her cancer returning. Sucks that she has to go through it again. Seen them play live a few times; she's an absolute blast on stage and the band is so good and tight. Looking forward to the album.

Oh, yeah, you could catch up pretty quick. It's nearly at the end of S3 right now. I feel like S2 is where it became very interesting and then S3 is where they hit their stride.

I like the one episode per day thing. I get too easily caught up in bingeing, so it's been kind of a nice relaxed pace so far. Will def work in the films, but hadn't thought to do the Lone Gunmen. Apparently they were already deep in talks about resurrecting the show when Gillian Anderson appeared on the Nerdist podcast and brought up the whole #Xfiles2015 thing, but she didn't let on.

Anyone else doing the 201 days of X-Files rewatch? I hadn't watched in a while, so I figured it'd be a good time to go through the series again.

Tried the Hawaiian at Homeroom the other day. Comes with hvarti cheese, bacon, pineapple and scallions (I have an allergy so I skipped the scallions); so delicious.

I ordered Heathen from Amazon at the end of May. They pushed back the ship date three times and I finally canceled the order yesterday and ordered elsewhere. Frustrating because my cousin ordered hers thru Amazon as well and received it last month.

Kate Bush fan. I haven't thought about my top ten in a long time, but I could easily have either The Dreaming and/or Hounds of Love in there.
