I have a question for vinyl collectors
bridley replied to ShayShay's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
because in 1995 if I wanted to listen to all the Gob songs, I needed to buy some 7"s. Kind of just grew from there. -
Unrelated to the boxset - just in case the RA fans haven't watched this series of videos yet - they're pretty wonderful: Ryan Adams: The Great Songwriters Interview

Guilt Show came out when I was 21 and completely unable to relate to an album that I perceived to be about divorce. Picking up this reissue has allowed me to see how strong and wonderful this album really is. Holy crap I've spent the last 12 years missing out. Still not their best though.

Based on the speed at which they are selling, it sounds like we might have to wait a significant amount of time to find out; though I suppose loads of resellers might just list them in hopes that dumdums over pay anyway. Is it possible that these could end up lower than retail on the secondary market since it isn't selling out any time soon?

Man, I wish this wasn't 270 Canadian dollars.

Digging this up from the grave, but are you still looking for the 7"s? -

Yes, bring cash or use the ATM beside the merch table (probably best to just bring cash) The new Fullblast pressing is on clear -

bridley replied to jonnywreck's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Box set is $60, Theory is $30, standard Red Tree is $25, Fullblast LP is $30. Both bands had a bunch of shirts, but I don't wear t-shirts every anymore so I didn't really look at them. Should have taken a photo, sorry. -

Yeah, I suppose photos of the Red Tree belong in here. Vinyl is clear. 7": Printed sleeves: The Red Tree (not a lot to see here other than different centre labels): -

Assuming I'm able to get one, I'll post a photo after the show tomorrow. -
Moneen - The Red Tree (Boxset)
bridley replied to jonnywreck's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Well, mostly I'm just paranoid that the box set or The Fullblast repress are delayed and won't be at the shows. Overall, I'm just eager to see what the whole thing is going to look like - though I suppose waiting until Wednesday would be fine too. -

Sorry to be the one to bump without any new info, but we're a week away! Anyone have any recent info on the boxset or the repressing of the Fullblast? Sorry for the infoless bump, here's a new interview with Kenny: https://noisey.vice.com/en_ca/article/moneen-clutch-nostalgia-by-the-nads-and-revive-the-red-tree-for-its-tenth-anniversary -
Dine Alone Holiday Sale
bridley replied to justindinealone's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I just tried to make a small order paying by paypal but was denied and given the "Sorry. This merchant only accepts payments from PayPal accounts registered in the United States." message. FYI. Edit again: Just tried for a third time and did not get denied. Carry on.- 9 replies

bridley replied to zacooper's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I agree that it is pretty bad, but as a lover of Saves the Day and Chris Conley I'm still going through jut to keep the STD/CC collection complete. Hoping it'll grow on me more as I continue to listen.- 14 replies

HOLY FUCK. Royal Mail is an option from Jersey... maybe poke around on their site to get a quote and counter offer him with what it tells you it should be. http://www.royalmail.com/price-finder Edit: a quick try gives me £12.40 as the cheapest option for a small parcel via Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed. It didn't ask where I was shipping from - so I assume they don't have any particular surcharges from more remote places within the UK.
