  1. A quick google search took me to exclaim.ca where it listed the pre-order price at $89.90(CAD I assume). Sonic Boom here in Toronto has a used copy on their wall for $200. It's been there for many months now. Similar to someone above, I'm also not a massive Sloan fan, but I do love this album... Will wait to see the price for the box set before deciding to buy or not. I'd likely be happy just owning a standard reissue and let a bigger fan grab a copy of the box set.
  2. So stoked on this week... Preordered the vinyl and poster package, landed tickets to the Hamilton show, and excellent seats at the Toronto show.
  3. Possibly my favourite storage set up on the site! Forgive me if you've explained somewhere already - but what's the story with that 7" storage box. Is it pre-made or did you construct it yourself? I need a new way to store my 7" collection and this is seems like the perfect solution for what I need. Thanks!
  4. The show was excellent, but I think it is safe to say you didn't miss out on his best. If that offers any peace of mind
  5. Somewhere on social media Hayden confirmed that copies will be available at the shows. I assume he's putting a decent number of the 1000 aside for the merch table - so I think you'll be good if you get tickets to the Toronto show.
  6. Links are up for most of the shows now. Just bought tickets for the Hamilton show - the rest seem to go on sale on Friday.
  7. My brother just messaged me about this, but thanks for posting here as well - so stoked on this. Ordered! I knew this was coming but still paid many dollars for an original a few months ago. No regrets at all.
  8. Last available show poster for tonight went to the person right ahead of my girlfriend. If anyone is going tomorrow and feels like buying one for her we'll pay all costs... Heading to Mexico tomorrow but back in NYC in the 11th... Please and thanks, friends.
  9. Biggest buys for me this year were: Saves the Day - In Reverie. Hayden - Skyscraper National Park, Moving Careful, The Closer I Get, and Everything I Long For. Rachael Yamagata - Elephants... Teeth Sinking Into Heart. None of these come up super frequently and I happened to land almost all of them at a reasonable price.
  10. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Braid-The-Get-Up-Kids-Post-Marked-Stamps-No-4-On-Tree-Records-1997-/401058831417?hash=item5d60f81c39:g:3jIAAOSwGotWoQ1b ? Sorry, guys.
  11. Why would I buy it for $12.99 from KRM when I can get it from discogs for $62?
  12. I didn't see Dead Dog Records on Bloor at Brock mentioned, so thought I'd add them to the thread. They seem to be right up my alley for what they tend to carry (used punk/emo and beyond) but are by no means limited to that. They have very excellent pricing too, seems like instead of pricing things at discogs average (or above) they consider what a reasonable price is and go with it. Seems like a very customer friendly method. Out of the way for me, but a regular place I visit. TRS carries amazing titles and harder to find pressings, but you pay for the convenience and security/peace of mind of buying it first hand and checking it out yourself. I won't regularly buy things, but sometimes it's the only place that has titles I would like to have on my shelf.
  13. You've got first dibs, kind internet stranger.
  14. After swearing to stop buying records for a while I had a pretty epic day of value finds today... Jimmy Eat World - Bleed American original black for $20CAD Jimmy Eat World - Clarity original black for $20CAD Karate - Unsolved $50CAD Even with the represses the JEW stuff seems to be selling for high prices and Unsolved seems to list for hundreds of euros (not sure it sells that often though). For whatever weirdo reason I prefer original pressings and am happy about these. Unsolved is likely one of my favourite albums. Over the past few weeks: Hayden - Hey Love Ryan Adams - Fire & Ashes !Attention! - Another Year Morrissey - Irish Blood, English Heart 7" Morrissey - The First of the Gang to Die 7" Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK 7" 2010 repress Pinhead Gunpowder - Fahizah 7" The Get Up Kids/Coalesce split 7" The Get Up Kids/The Anniversary split 7"
  15. Anyone still waiting for delivery from the first batch? I'm starting to accept that my order has disappeared for good.
  16. Coming March 4th. Black or Pink/Green option and some bundles up on the band's store: https://wintersleep.store-08.com/pre-order/ Also on the Dine Alone 10th anniversary webstore: (black only /1000): http://dinealone10.myshopify.com/products/the-great-detachment-lp?variant=13240907268 New song Amerika sounds great, and I'm looking forward to hearing what else is on the album. I wasn't particularly taken by the last two albums.
  17. Please? I'm still waiting for my tape I ordered from the first time they went up for sale, frown.
  18. My tapes should be arriving today. I'll try to set the new high. Will report back. Jk.
