Tax return showed up today, so just paid off the last of my student loan. I'm not debt free, and it feels amazing. Now to get over this anxiety issue and get the fuck out of Ohio.

Huh, I guess I always assumed you were like 15 or something.  I don't mean that in a mean way, just an observation.
 
The opposite side of that is my experience.  My wife and I got engaged when we were 21 and in our junior year at college.  I thought it was cool that we got to grow together a bit before our personalities and interests became a bit more cemented, which studies show happens in your later 20s.  So there's that.
 
We were also broken up when I proposed.  Our 3rd breakup over the course of about a year.  It was the first serious relationship for either of us.  And then we were only engaged for about 6 weeks before the wedding... Im realizing right now that I might not be the best person to give people relationship advice.

First day of work was awesome!!  I got placed in the team I really wanted so I am set.  Everyone seems to be pretty cool too so that's a bonus.

You know.  At first glance, this thread seemed like a very run-of-the-mill Wednesday morning cesspool.  But if you scrape off that top crust of congealed redundancy and peel back a few layers of beaten dead horses, there's actually a really novel idea to be had here.  I know it's ambitious to consider, but how great would it be if we had one specific maelstrom of VC memes in an effort to keep them from leaking out and contaminating the rest of the boards?  Just one specific shit-show for everyone to post all the rehashed jokes, gifs, debates, and general tomfuckery to get it out of their system.  Like an airing of grievances but for keyboard troglodytes.

Looks like I'm going on vacation next month to the middle of nowhere Virginia. My girlfriend's parents rented a house for a week and invited us and we're basically in it for the free food for the week.

Arrive and spend ten grand in 48 hours.

Lee that I happened to be lucky enough to grab Willett Pot Still Reserve Bourbon Old Weller Antique 107 Bourbon Rittenhouse Rye Bottled in Bond Whistlepig Rye 10 year Clynelish 14 Scotch Lagavulin 16 Scotch Aberlour A'bunadh batch 53 Scotch Hibiki Harmony Whiskey (Japan) Nikka Coffey Grain Whiskey (Japan) If I can find a damn Yamazaki 12 year that's the ideal finisher to the Japanese whiskeys, and I'm thinking about Michter's rye to finish off that batch.
