Had never heard this album but I felt like I may have heard of Rusko before, so I checked it out. Placed my order before I even finished the album. Thanks for sharing!

Same thing he's been saying in response to our emails, that it's about 95% complete and the plant says it SHOULD be done by the end of the month.

Oh okay, I heard you couldn't use Hot Cash on vinyl but I just assumed it would void the discount in your shopping cart as opposed to them completely hiding vinyl from their website so nobody can purchase anything. Kinda horse shit.

As a matter of fact, the most I've ever spent on a single album was my most recent purchase of Flume's ST LP (the deluxe edition) for $40.

I haven't received either of them yet, bought them both on Ebay last night. As far as I know, Some Minds is the single with the white label and Turning on the b-side as there were only two releases, one on Transgressive Record and one on Future Classic, both of which are identical. As for the ST, I got the deluxe edition limited to 1000 copies. Flume has the Some Minds single on his webstore for $18 as well as the standard edition of the ST for $30, I payed another $10 more on Ebay for the deluxe edition with all of the bonus tracks (I needed that Disclosure remix).

Pretty shocking update from Andrew... "So the rumors are true everyone! Unfortunately I did lose my leg in this accident. He might have, I just assumed he meant double LP because this is the first time The Upsides will be released on two discs. Technically it IS a double LP, as it is two discs, but it's really not when the album itself is still spread across one disc. So.

I mean if we're being honest, does it really qualify as a double anyway? The album itself is still on one disc, the second disc is just one side of extra tracks and a D side etching.

Probably not, very rarely does MerchNow give pressing info on their products from what I've seen. Unless it's the selling point, because the album is "limited to /x".

I'm currently going back and forth with Chris via email, here's what's been said so far: Me: "In early October or November (I've since checked, I placed the order November 17th) I ordered a copy of The Upsides (Deluxe), set to ship around December 18th, as well as a copy of Suburbia: I've Given You All And Now I'm Nothing and A Comp For Mom. It's now January 13th and my records are nowhere to be found, I've not received any sort of email regarding the status of my order and as far as I can tell you guys haven't offered any legitimate update to those who purchased The Upsides except "update coming soon". I've been a customer of No Sleep for years and am honestly very disappointed. What's going on? If you can't offer me some sort of update regarding my order, I'd like to discuss getting my money back." Chris: "Apologies on the delay / lack of updates. We simply have not had much to say yet as we are still waiting on an update from the plant - we are sending out an update very soon though. In short, about 95% of the order is finished with the plant, and is being finished shortly and will be sent to MerchNow ASAP to fulfill all preorders/etc. Again, terribly sorry about the delay and lack of updates. We were hoping to have the records in before changing over fulfillment to MerchNow but they were not finished in time but they will be fulfilling all of the preorders for us." Like I said, it's just I've been a customer of No Sleep for years and while I've heard of issues other people have had they are not issues that I have ever had, so this is a first for me personally. I see now that it's something out of your control though, so I apologize." Chris: Your issues (and others others have had) our the reason (and main reason) we are making the change to MerchNow, we simply could not get a good/reliable warehouse staff as of late, and lots of things were falling through the cracks, inventory issues were constant, and the list goes on. So... yeah. Apparently it's coming, who knows when though. Hopefully soon. No Sleep used to be one of my favorite labels and I ordered from them all the time, it's upsetting to see how downhill it's gone just in the past year or two.

Yeah, this really isn't that odd. Years ago there was a house that was being passed through my family (it's been sold since, whole big thing) and while my grandparents lived there, they hung up hooks on the garage ceiling and hung their bikes upside down by them. It was the strangest thing I'd ever seen, but it got the job done.

Starting to get really annoyed at this point, this may or may not be my last time ordering from No Sleep. Not to mention I've got other items bundled with this that I'm still waiting on.

Let me just say, the "Goodbye To A World" remix you and Deimos did is like my favorite thing ever.

Dude, SUCH a solid list <3 Worlds is my favorite album of all time (I'm sure you noticed my username and the gif in my signature), Odezsa is great as are Flume, Bonobo and Tycho. I also really like Giraffage and Madeon!

If you're a Skrillex fan you should definitely check out Sonny's new project with Diplo, Jack U. Their album is available on vinyl, I actually need to pick up a copy myself. Also I'd suggest Madeon's "Adventure" (potentially my AOTY for 2015).

Those are some nice opinions, but there are plenty of people who would disagree. What's with the negativity? You could have very easily scrolled past this thread.
