Not really new equipment but I gave in and went to Ikea and bought some furniture that looks a bit more uniform than the assortment of equipment stands I did have.

I got the Shady Records comp last week and it's a really nice package, especially for the price.

Also picked up Houdini by Melvins and Ellipsis by Biffy Clyro (indie clear variant) and recieved my Ellipsis deluxe and Wolves Of Winter 7" in the post. Now I'm gonna make a start on that new bottle of Jameson and chill out to some tunes.

I went with Bundle 7. I thought about Bundle 11 as well, but I couldn't justify paying $20 more for a slightly more limited and less ugly variant (let's not kid ourselves here, it's about the music), a CD copy, and a beanie that I would never use.  That white t-shirt is kickass, though.
I ordered a poster tube too, so the total order came out to about $48 after shipping. A bit "yikes," but I typically don't order anything but the record, so I'm assuming that's pretty normal for MerchNow.

Got bundle 11. That shipping though...

No idea. Can't seem to find info about it on any record stores or on the bands own website. I know those who ordered the deluxe should be getting sent downloads on release day. The thing that strikes me as odd is if you pre-order the album on vinyl direct from the bands website they automatically send you three songs digitally, guess people who pick up copies tomorrow may have answers for you though....

 

Not on amazon.co.uk yet but I noticed Norman records have it. Don't know if it is identical to the RSD print my friend ordered one so might be able to check dead wax etc. after it arrives. Not sure if it's made its way onto any US/international sites yet.

Here's mine. Finally got around to pulling the trigger on some new headphones. I think this is the end of upgrades for me in that department. Still might switch out the cartridge on my table, though. But that can wait!

All vinyl is $10 in stores only to get their brick and mortar business out of the vinyl game. Before vinyl was taken off the website many people were asking their stores to order them records from the warehouse and these misinformed/indifferent employees did it. If the deal is still going on Friday and California winds up online it may not hurt to stop by your local store and see if you can catch the right employee.

BTW - If anyone is interested in that Mumford & Sons tin box set let me know, I picked it up as an extra in a big purchase and just not really much of a fan. It only has four of the six singles but everything there is in like new condition.

Went to a flea market today, table said $5 each record, ended up with 23 records and paid $30. Best $30 I've spent my whole life. Even better he's going to have six more crates tomorrow
