I think they charge at time of shipping. The transaction will initially appear on your statement, but it doesn't go through. 

That's a new pressing that's been out for a while now.

after a lot of back and forth, it looks like the VC pressing will (hopefully ) be a numbered mystery variant (similar to the recent hazy mountains release by @EHughes527) meaning each record will be a surprise hand-poured variant and no two will be alike, pricing will be $21.99

Excuse me, I meant in terms of things like song writing, lyrics, flow, etc. It felt like a jumble of different albums rather than one cohesive release and Manson really could have redone a lot of the performances he gave. It doesn't sound like a completed project to me but more like they got pretty close and just stopped. Production wise I totally agree, it definitely could've benefited from less touching up.

timecop1983 - reflections is finally out. shipping to the USA is a flat rate 29.90 EUR, and they were only allowing 1 copy per order. they changed it today to allow 3 copies, so i went ahead and ordered 3. one of mine may be spoken for but i will definitely have at least one extra if anyone here wants it. it will be $46 shipped in the USA. still steep but much more manageable than the ~$65 that it was for one copy.

Red or Black vinyl

I have 3 copies of DS, clear 1st is full of noises and clicks, Dunk half/half is way better but not at 100%, tour splatter is the best of the 3, just a few noisy moments. 
According to Translation Loss new plates will be used for the new pressing (DS for sure, didn't ask about TQPOE and Crimea) so hopefully we finally have great sounding copies of the album, it definitely deserves the treatment. 

I think as with anything, it all comes down to availability and demand and it'll differ depending on the nature of each release. I don't know too much about this release in particular, but it looks like it was widely available in many different countries, which is probably why it wasn't priced as high as you expected:

In general, I think you'll also notice that records that are released in limited colored variants tend to hold their collectors value more as they are more sought after.
