Am I missing something or does this dude sound like every other top 40 rapper out there? I haven't seen an artist more hyped in years.

I can't stand first person shooters and most AAA's and I would not put Naughty Dog in my top ten developers. I get how people like them but the interactive movies they make are not my cup of tea at all. Granted I've really only been attracted to Japanese video game aesthetics since I got my N64 as a kid (I recently realized that 90% of the games I own and enjoy are coincidentally Japanese). There's a couple Western games I can get into but that's more like Ratchet and Clank and stuff. Not trying to start in an argument but I feel like I definitely don't fall into that Call of Duty bro camp. Also hot damn, this new Zelda is one of the most beautiful pieces of art I have ever experienced. I hope this is a sign of what's to come from Nintendo. The Wii/Wii U era were the dark ages as far as I'm concerned.

This is the first console I have bought at launch since the Gamecube and have to admit I am a littke worried. Sweet mother of god, those Zelda review scores though. Hot damn.

I am playing Nioh as well and absolutely love it. I'm hoping I can find the time to get through it before Zelda.

I think that has been a pretty usual thing for me for a while which is why I typically refrain from posting these days. The price isn't too bad when looking at it that way... I imagine I will probably pick it up soon.

Apparently Breath of the Wild won't be too different on each console as far as performance goes. It makes me kind of want to pick it up for Wii U but I want the Switch so bad that I'll probably keep my preorder for it from Gamestop. I'll probably grab that Bomberman game too if the price drops.

I'm super late to the conversation but Jesus H. Christ that new Harry Potter was awful. I bought a book of Lovecraft stories around this time last year and am just now getting into it. The Whisperer in Darkness was pretty good. I'm probably going to reread the Secret History of Twin Peaks soon and maybe go through Series of Unfortunate Events for the first time since I was a kid. The Netflix show got me in the mood for those.

Awesome. TRL are killing it right now. This and the Eluvium album are the only records I have really bought in almost a year.
