Grabbed the most limited variants of them. I listened to Fun yesterday and was thinking how I really need Some Kind of Cadwallader so this was weird timing.

I’d put money on them releasing a full length.

Kind of unrelated but the jukebox at Sizzle Pie is the best ever. Not sure about the one in Seattle but the ones in Portland are great. Plus Aaron Turner is good friends with the owner so you can catch him there after shows occasionally.

Call of Duty has been synonymous with shit for like 10 years.

Everything after the Hawk is Howling is pretty bad to me but opinions and stuff. I think the fact that they peaked really early with CODY/Rock Action made everything else seem pretty weak to me. Haven’t listened to much of Every Country’s Sun (I’ll take your guys’ word for it and listen to it later) but Hardcore Will Never Die and Rave Tapes were abysmal from where I stand but still haven’t listened to Atomic or that other soundtrack they did either. I’ve been pretty out of the loop with music since I stopped buying records and posting on here frequently. edit: I should probably mention MONO since this thread is about them after all. I like the new song. I sold everything I owned from them years ago for some reason and was just talking to my friend the night before this song was released about how I need to buy those albums again.

It blows my mind every time I see the Discogs prices for these. Ridiculous.

I seriously can’t wait for this. I got to see 2/3 dudes play Duster songs in Portland last December and it was one of my favorite shows ever. I have the original presses but am 100% in. One of my favorite bands ever.

If Mogwai were doing what they were doing 15 years ago, they would actually still be good.

I think it’s mostly because I just played through Asylum/City within the past month.

That’s what is really turning me off of this game.

I picked up Dragon Quest 11 yesterday and can’t wait to start it.

My Harmonic Tremors/Birds of Prey came and are both different shades of blue/brownish mix. Kind of bummed because I was hoping to get one of the ones with smoke but oh well. Albums rule and I am just glad to have them and that the money is going to a good cause. I bought a medium shirt and it fits like a large though.

Very excited for this. I went through his disgography recently and forgot how much I love this guy’s work after not listening to him for a couple years.

I should turn him in and get him banished from the industry.

Aaaaaand I just had the next Avengers spoiled for me by a friend who worked on it and broke NDA.

That sounds absolutely adorable. These kids were dragged by their trashy parents and I’m pretty sure most of them were too young to have ears developed enough to withstand the sound levels. I don’t blame them at all and was more pissed that their parents thought it was okay. Naturally kids are going to freak out during a loud three hour movie where people are dying left and right.

Yeah, I really had no complaints. I swear there were at least 10 babies in the theater screaming the whole time and a group of high schoolers chewing popcorn with their mouths open behind me, so going back to see it a second time on Sunday.

I tried seeing it with my nephew this weekend but every theater in the area was packed. Hopefully today isn’t as bad.

Yuck.

This is going to be a fun thread to follow. I honestly still haven’t listened to a single second of their last album but should get on that. Edit: hell, I haven’t listened to any new music over the past 3ish years.

Definitely going to buy everything (minus the tests of course) when I get paid.
