Hear, hear. I totally agree. I’m getting ready to drop big money on the LPs but a Sparklehorse Numero box is my wet dream. edit: Oh and I love Dreamt For Light Years. Each record Mark did has its own identity and after pushing his sound so for with It’s a Wonderful Life, the sugary Beatlesesque songs on the last album tie everything together nicely. Return To Me and See the Light are two of my favorite songs from him. Sparklehorse is probably my favorite band ever.

I can’t stand post-Wrath WoW but god damnit if I’m not salivating at the thought of WoW classic dropping. I will willingly hand over my life to that game when it is released.

Husker Du are ridiculously more popular than Duster so I’m not sure if that is a good comparison.

I bought KH3 last night and played a little before going to bed. My god, it is more apparent than ever how bad the story and writing in these games is but man I love it. Excited to get home from work and play more. The graphics look really really off for some reason although I assume it’s just because I am used to the PS2 ones.

Nah bruh, that Limp Bizkit album that has been in development for like 7 years might drop this year.

The new Daughters album is my album of the decade so far but nothing else really stood out this year. The new Efrim and Cursive albums are good. Edit: last year. Still not used to it being 2019 yet.

That’s how I found them too. Huge Built to Spill obessive and was going through the Up roster when I was a kid and found these guys. Got all the 12”s from Clay for $12 brand new, I think the 7”s were $3 and I got Valium Aggelein used for like $10 on Discogs. I’m a bit too nostaglic to sell the originals or else I would have cashed in.

Ah yes, THE HOBBY. I’ve been away from the board for a while and I guess the idea of spending hundreds on records that are being reissued has become a foreign idea to me. I’m heading up to Seattle to see Duster on Sunday in a few minutes and am spinning these before I leave. I usually listen to the CDs in my car so it has been a while since I have thrown the records on and they sound more solid than I remember.

Definitely meant it in regards to Numero’s quality. Hyperbolic for sure. The originals aren’t bad by any means but just meant it would be useless for someone to seek out the originals unless they are collecting.

These represses are going to be infinitely better than the cheap Up Records originals.

Hahahaha, wait. Did someone really try trading a $60 box set that hasn’t been released yet for like $700 worth of OG Duster records? Also seriously can’t wait for this record to come in and to frame the print.

I just listened to this album a couple days ago. I saw them play with Eluvium around the time this came out and wasn’t into them but have come around lately. Probably going to grab this if it isn’t too limited.

I misread the page as I ordered and thought I read gold for some reason. Glad I was wrong though. I saw a listing of the tracks and am so glad Echo Bravo is on the Stratosphere LP. It was missing on the original and I was really bummed when I found out the first time I listened to it.

Thanks! First hearing this band when I was a teenager was one of those game changing experiences and I will never forget where I was/what I was doing when I first turned Stratosphere on. The first three years of me playing guitar was just trying to rip these guys off. They mean a hell of a lot to me and seeing them in all their glory is going to be a really wonderful experience.

Yep. It will be along the lines of the Codeine/Bedhead boxes I assume and you can check out pictures of those to get an idea.
