Mutemath is one of my favourite bands. I passed on the S/T at $100. And... I'll pass on this if its $40 lol 

I emailed to ask about the colours, waiting on a reply! Also.. it's cheaper to buy the package with both albums than the individual boxsets.. It's about half the price for shipping for me ha

Pretty sure that's not the boxset. 
 
Its deluxe only insofar as in it comes with the bonus tracks on vinyl. I believe that was mentioned somewhere, but I don't remember the source

Goodness... This is going to be madness, but I'm definitely in for a copy ha.
 
Hope this is not a dumb question but friday midnight.. Does that refer to like 12am friday morning (late thursday) or like late friday/1200 Saturday

My copy finally arrived today and true enough, in the Pilsner variant. Just wanted to say a quick thank you for the headsup! Very, very happy with how it looks. Definitely one of the best looking records in my collection. (Also arrived in near flawless condition, no seam splits on the inner or outer sleeve, which happens alot for international shipping.. and minimal warp - I've received albums that are so crazily warped its like my tonearm is dancing on a sine wave..)
 
They also did a great job with the packaging, I liked the contrast between the finishing on the front and back panels of the gatefold, I do believe this is the first album that I own with this.
 
It did have a bit more background noise than I had expected though.. I cleaned it before listening but it was still a noticeable amount. Still, all is good. Love the songs on this album. 
 
 
I've been a Caspian fan for quite awhile (When I had initially gotten on the post-rock bandwagon.. along with bands like Sigur Ros, EITS, TWDY), but it waned after awhile and I only started getting back into them after watching/listening to the audiotree session and when I started buying vinyl earlier this year. Definitely second that (third or rather..) on the audiotree session being pressed. Loved it and I still go back to listen to it on a regular basis.

You two have just reminded me why it's probably time to revisit this. I liked it when it came out, but never really got into it the way I got into Tertia way back when. I definitely agree that Caspian are a step beyond anything else going on in post-rock nowadays. It goes beyond just moving away from the post-rock staples too, there's just so much richness in every bit of instrumentation and so many unusual and interesting sounds going on. I get similar vibes from Dust that I get when I listen to Low Level Owl by The Appleseed Cast, in that I get pretty lost sometimes trying to figure out 'how the hell are they doing that?'.  It makes the repeat listenings all the more satisfying, whereas often with some of the instrumental stuff I've heard of late I've not felt much need to dive back in and do the same.

Then, on the other hand, maybe if the guitar in the last minute of Rioseco didn't sound so absolutely perfect I might not have dropped £350 on a guitar pedal trying to copy it. Oops.

I was too, I'm all the way in Singapore. Mine was shipped (i ordered two) partitioned, and surrounded by styrofoam. I've only opened one set (intend to keep the other sealed or let it to a local person who missed out), but it was surprisingly flawless. 

Got mine! Arrived in a week and since I'm overseas, that's actually pretty quick. Shipping came up to half a boxset (i hesitated at first, and ended up not being within the first 200. would've been nice to get a 7"!)
 
All I can say is WOW. The packaging is exquisite. Everything was very well executed. I'm also very glad mine didnt have any seam splits. Those usually happen during overseas shipping too. It was very well packed, styrofoam all round. I bought 2, thinking if I should open the other to check for seam splits.. But I wanted to keep it sealed or sell it to someone else locally.. 
 
Listening to the albums now, blueprints for the black market is a little warped, but i LOVE the remasters! 
 
Still wish that they did these on some sick coloured vinyl, but still overall, this boxset was not just a great idea, but superbly done. Props to the anberlin team and merch designers!

I was quite ticked off because I ordered X&Y off amazon and it came super badly warped and wouldn't even play properly. Just got a replacement in and it's even worse than the first one that came. 
 
Wanted to find out if there were other pressings but instead found this page on Sterling's website (It's a mastering studio) which says X&Y was mastered for vinyl there in 2016.

Nice..... Looks like I jumped on this one too early. would've liked a slipmat and amoeba packs records like no other.. much lower risk of shipping damage
 
Also, if anything I would've expected the ghostly store to have the sliipmat ha
