I need to chime in here because nobody corrected this person when they tried to claim that Ugly Organ was the release that put Cursive on the map. DOMESTICA, ANYONE?! Ugly Organ was just hyped up a ton because it was the follow-up!

I'm gettin' realllllll tired of this "VIP Tour Bundle" bullshit. It seems to be a wild trend from semi-washed up early 00s screamo bands also. Cash grab to the max when your new projects or new albums don't pan out as planned, I suppose.

Just remember that Euro music fans and Asian music fans are MUCH more rabid than US fans. We tend to be cheap and fleeting in our fandom. Her overseas music push kind of makes sense from a financial standpoint.

HOLY SHIT I helped release this on CD back in the day and it is - without a doubt - one of the best releases ever put into the world. I would press it in a heartbeat if I thought that I would sell more than one copy (which would be to you, apparently).

You know that VC is excited about an album when two threads for a reissue PO pop up and no one even mentions a merge, let alone loses their shit about it or pummels one of the OPs for starting said thread.

That MBD pressing is ultra cool and ULTRA inconvenient. You need so much space available just to access the records. I was stoked when the single LP version was released just to make it easier to listen to.

I have an expedit that is 7 years old. It has been taken apart, put back together and moved from house to house (and across the country!) 8 times now and currently houses 1200+ records. To boot, I've put a 5x5 expedit horizontally across the top and filled that with my 7"s and 10"s & misc books, long box CDs and cassettes. That thing is as sturdy as can be. Sure the materials aren't "high quality" but simple physics and proper set up allow it for durability and strength. The only failures are people who use them other than how they are intended or build them sideways.

Let's bring this back to the front. If someone buys something tonight, I'll put up a rare variant of Sunbather. Nerds love SNBTHR.
