PO NOW: Relient K - Air For Free
TFP replied to SpazzyMcGee's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
I liked Look on Up. But in this instance I'm glad we are getting 16 songs and not a rehash of Look on Up. I'm glad Relient K are putting a lot of songs on this. I hope for a better cover though... -
I just received my shipping notification for the Webstore variant. FedEx though *shudders Hope it doesn't come damaged

Greenville, SC - Horizon Records - RSD Question
TFP replied to shenanigans's topic in Vinyl Collective Message Board
Has Earshot totally folded as a company? They opened a store here in Charleston that maybe only lasted a year. -
It may be their own plastic sleeve with a Ratchet & Clank logo sticker on the plastic like they did with Perfect Dark and Banjo Kazooie.

DC Cinematic Universe Thread

I finally was able to see this yesterday in IMAX. And while I understand the issues people are having with it, I personally enjoyed it. And when certain people say Gal Gadot was a highlight I felt pretty meh about her Wonder Woman. I felt like Lex having a file on meta-humans was obviously a way to shoehorn in the Justice League cameos. And what's with the files already having logos? Seeing Jason Mamoa's Aquaman makes me question if that movie can end up being good. I avoided spoilers all weekend, as much as I could, so I could go into this movie being wowed. I really liked the Flash cameo, while I was watching it I just did not know what was going on. My brother sitting next to me, seeing my amazement, explained it was the Flash. He read some spoilers haha. I really liked the opening of the film taking place right in between the chaos of Man of Steel. I got choked up when Jack in the Wayne offices prayed before his passing. We see so much cursing and ugliness from man nowadays that a gentleman praying in a big-budget movie really struck a chord with me. I believe it brought weight to the scene. I think this is a movie where you will end up liking if you like Zack Snyder's take on the characters and his directing. There were a lot of scenes that, to me, felt like Watchmen. Slow motion, hues of colors etc. -
I feel like Carol was selfish because now many members' lives are in danger.

These three in the same day: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice - OST - MOV Colored 3LP Set Motion City Soundtrack - Panic Stations - Opaque Blue Motion City Soundtrack - Panic Stations - Opaque Red I was able to get both Panic Stations with a 35% discount on the webstore, so that helped balance the crazy $10 shipping.

I got my MOV copy in today from SoundStageDirect and it was previously opened I guess because I stressed I wanted the colored vinyl. Anyway, I opened the full package and the vinyl was present but I was missing the insert, poster and DL code. So I was really upset. I called SSD and they are sending me a new copy with a return label. Hopefully the new copy will be complete. But, I did listen to the OST and I must say it doesn't really stand out. I did like the last track though, Fight Night.

It looks like SRC has standard banner ads now. I kind of looked forward to the new SRC album graphics.

I'm getting a Star Trek vibe to that cover....it must be the font. -
I consider 3 different records my "first buy." Here's why: I always have a hard time deciding what my first vinyl was. I guess it would be considered the MxPx "Small Town Minds" 7" I got at the show at the House of Blues Myrtle Beach in 2001. But I know, in the same year, I bought The Wallflowers' (Breach) and Jurassic 5's EP. Both from Manifest Discs and Tapes -now known as Monster Music here in Charleston. So, with these three purchases, I consider them my first buys. I would have been 17.
